Back on Topic, I still feel like after a Gnarle battle i want my character to look mangled and battered as if he were truly in battle. It wouldn't be to hard to do. Cut it up into 3 section of durability, for example you lose 25% it looks bad 50% worse, 75% mangled.
I do not think they want to go that way. I think they are aiming for more of a game that appeals to a larger spectrum of fans. A lot of gamers do not want to have any challenge and just want to kill things.
I wish they go more towards D1 and even further than that. I want to see that the game is almost impossible to beat even for normal. That to me brings enjoyment to the game. Most players do not like that style of game.

On Strike and supporting Fallout 4 Mod Makers
Some fallout 4 mod makers have had their mods stolen and uploaded and downloaded on Bethesda's site for the Xbox One.
There are alot of excelent games out there that sucefully added durability in items. Gameplay wise it adds a sense of survival, like ammo in RE. You must play attention to your resources, know how to spend your money. It's better to repair this weapon or buy another one ? Keep your armor damaged to buy extra potions or repair armor and get no pots ?
Manage resources is a fun element to add in game despite it's genre. The only problem I see is that barbs and monks will suffer alot more from repair then WD's and wiz.

I agree with what your saying because after awhile in diablo 2 the bosses become so easy to beat. it just became so repetitively boring without a challenge. With a hard bosses, competition, and trading, this game will surpass the others. yet i feel like this game needs durability and a room cap that will fit all 5 classes because durability adds realness to the game and allowing 5 in a room will not only allow every class to play but more trading oprions to happen.
durability would not be a problem for trading because supposedly the money system will be more efficient with the items. so repairing items will be another thing you can use your money on. It was also in all the other Diablos so why would they leave durability out? Durability is just another detail in the game that should not be left out.
IF you look at every games release after d2 you will see they haven't durability (titan quest, torchlight...) ! Why ? Just unneccesary annoying feature. Repairing just doesn't fit with the new thought of Blizzard, make face-paced and no tp ! Only no tp crush the durability concept.
Don't panic the currency will be build up without durability in thought.
IF Blizzard implement durability I expect something more... meaningful/useful and a new kind of gameplay... I really don't know... but something sure, d2 durability/repairing concept will not come back.
Yeah, I doubt blizzard will make arrow/bolt amount, I retake my example : like tq and torchlight !!! It's just stupid so Blizzard will not do a game with it !
Well, talking about anything that is illegal can get you banned yes. Trust me, my 3 months ban knows.
Amen
That seems quite a lot, especially for the programmers.

I doubt... With durability I only see more problem for trading system..
