Not too big of a deal for me. The longer we wait, the more time I have to find a job and get an epic computer to play Diablo III on! triple 30" screens... mmmm
Don't get a monitor.
Get a projector, than you can play the game on a 8' screen.
well, I'd prefer 2010 but still...
They said "the two games expected for 2010 are Starcraft & Cataclism" just after saying that Starcraft release moved from 2009 to 2010 "will not affect Diablo release"....sounds strange to me.
If Starcraft was expected in 2009 and delayed for "technical trouble", how would be possible for that game to be one of the two due to be released in 2010?
Well, I still think the economic situations had an hand on that.
Hopefully late Q1 or Q2 of 2011. They will announce the final class at Blizzcon 2010, and after that work on balancing, debugging, and polishing. Shouldn't take a whole another year at that point.
So I'm gonna be 17 when I play it... *shoots self in foot*
I don't care that much. A little heartbroken, and a little annoyed that we're probably going to see a bunch of people saying "I tld u so! Haxxors =DDDDD".
I'm gonna try to be optimistic and think that it's going to be released very late 2010 or very early to mid 2011.
Hey. The way I'm going with my job.. I won't have much time at all to play Diablo III... I'm always moving up. Bigger work load and more responisibilites.
Live it up while you're still young. lol

Watching 240 guys talk trash about cavaliers is like two retards having a slapfight over a sippy cup.
Diablo 3 would obviously beat both SC2 and Cataclysm, so they wait with releasing it until we all bought those games and got bored of them
That's never going to happen, but all the better for us. A smaller and more personal community is more attractive to me than one with millions upon millions of people.
Alright, sorry for no personal follow-up. I was watching a lot of the live stream and trying to do other things on top of that (multi-tasked watching and a sink hair wash between panels too XD).
I was actually personally thinking about a late 2010 release date, however at the time I made such a prediction I had no clue about Cataclysm. Once I heard about it I knew it would be coming out first if they announced it at Blizzcon. Here we are, they did release Cataclysm, and now I am personally not surprised at all.
I will admit, I'm a little bummed for the fact that I can't wait for this game, but at the same time I will know they will take their time to make Diablo 3 what it needs to be.

There are no stupid questions, just a bunch of inquisitive idiots.

The real issue is finding something to play in the meantime D2 can only hold my attention for a few months at a time, every few years. I anticipate playing SC2 pretty heavily for a while but I can only play RTS games for so long, I'm good a Microing and have a high APS rate but it just gets tedious to play them competitively for a long time.
WTB fallout-3 like game to be released summer 2010 that can hold me until D3.

I'm looking at Borderlands myself... what do you think of it so far?

Borderlands looks sweet. I don't remember if there is a release date or not, but I do know it looked pretty sweet. Hope its good when it comes out. I am personally an FPS fan as well, so obviously Modern Warfare 2 is high on my list. I am also hoping a few others will hold me up too, such as Splinter Cell: Conviction, but that one looks a little sad at this point.

I wonder what are their ambitions for this game they haven't told us about yet? For a game that we expect to follow such a tried-and-true formula, the development time is remarkably long.
...Now im just mad!
I mean I hope they show more at BlizzCon because so far its only been one class and a desert... Yaaaayyy BAM 2011+ I mean it took like a year to make one class and a area... Plus WOW gets enough crap come on man Diablos Time to Shine At least ill get SC2 to tide me over Slightly... But ill deff be buying a new computer soon for these games

It looks decent, reminds me a bit of TF2, but taking itself a bit more seriously.
I'm looking forward to CoD:MW2 but i'll have to build a new pc before I can play it, which probably won't be for a few months after it comes out.
