They were the claws for the assassin, if I'm not mistaken.
I would like to see a set for Tyrael. When wearing the full set, it would show the wearer with a magical, holographic image of the angel himself, but everybody can see the character underneath. One of the full set bonuses: All lowly enemies will flee at the sight of the wearer. It wouldn't have any effect on champions, uniques, and super uniques. The act bosses are super uniques; blood raven, corpsefire, pindleskin and the randomly named enemy are uniques; and we all know about the champions. A partial set bonus would be: Ability to wield Colossus Blade with one hand (any class). It would be made up of five pieces; Sacred Armor, Crusader Gauntlets, Myrmidon Greaves, Corona, and Colossus Blade. The only way to get each set piece is to kill a monster that guards the piece. Even then, you may have to kill the monster a dozen times before it finally drops the piece.
Feel free to add attributes.
Hella good idea. The wings n all. Cept without the fleeing. Maybe a cower.
Well considering all trace of Uldyssian was removed from the world, I don't think his set items would be laying around.
Uldyssian wasn't wiped completely from the world. All Those in Seram, except Mendeln, who is now called Kalan, remember Uldyssian dying from the plague. Kalan's memory is fully intact and, like I have said before, maybe he has had armor forged in memory of his brother, Uldyssian.

So far i really like the set ideas but does anyone think maybe they should also have some kind of visual effect like for example an angel type set would give you wings just not to fly or anything just to have them. A demon set might give an aura or glowing eyes. This could also apply to weapons like angelic sword would glow white and a demonic sword would glow red or black or maybe they can just have some kind of effect that matches with the item. Im just trying to give some ideas that could make the game much more entertaining. Hhm Actually item visual effects is something that titan quest does pretty well. Theres some items that make your eyes glow red and some weapons glow white or just give off some kind of light.

Well i dont mean for the items to be literally covered in one color i mean that unique and set items should have some kind of visual effect other than just a glowing aura for completing a set. By the way i have no idea how you got neon colors from my last post but try to atleast examine it and dont just post something like that which makes it seem like youre trying to be "funny".

Granted, but to them Uldyssian was just some farm boy. Kalan has memory of him, but I still don't think he would go about creating armor.

There you will find the gate to Hell opened before you. You must find the courage to step through that gate Marius. Take the stone you hold to the Hellforge, where it will be destroyed. Now run! Take the stone and run!"
Well its not like having a set of a character in the game has to make sense, they can have an Uldyssian set if they want to im sure that if its good people arent going to be asking why theres an Uldyssian set if hes "gone".

I think that it would be cool to have sets that culminate in one item. Maybe the different pieces could work as charms on their own, however if you collected the whole set then you could transmute them into a particular piece of armor or a weapon. For instance the charms could be something like:
Duriel's Horns 10-15% ias (varies) 10% Fire Resist
Duriel's Jaw +30-40 Life (varies) 10% Poison Resist
Duriel's Skull (Bone Visage) +2-3 all skills (varies) 100% enhanced defense Damage reduced by 20-30% (varies) Plus all of the stats from the original charms
Instead of getting green set items, we would find green charms. Only one charm of each type could be used in the inventory of a character at any one time.
Haha, me and Lt.Venom were discussing a pretty similar idea with the three prime evils, a charm set based on them :D.
Not the transmute part though, that's pretty cool, would be a pretty cool game mechanic and a new way to collect sets and such.
And hell, maybe there could be charmsets for Andariel, Belial, and Azmodan (4 lesser evils), and each transmuted into a piece of equipment like the one you listed, and when all 4 completed sets were combined, you got like... uber fucking bonuses.
They'd have to balance it out, of course, so not everyone used this set, but I'd still like a collecting mechanic such as the one you suggested.
Glad to see the discussion is still flowing in here ^^.

I still say we need an angiris council set, i mean cmon who wouldent want a set of Imperius or Tyrael. ( and Auriel for the females)
