In a couple of games I've played there would be an option, of to which you'd be able to transfer music from your computer into an ingame mp3. Would you guys use this if it were to be implemented into the game? In the other games I've played it didn't lag the game up, so you wouldn't have to worry about that.
thats wat i do with d2.... in game i can turn down ingame sound so my computer can play music..... but when i go out of game like to character select or the chat menus theres that unstoppable music.........
not really, you can stop it with ctrl+M my friend!
anyways we don't need ingame mp3 player

I think that putting a in-game mp3 would be really bad because I really liked the music that blizzard put in but most of the time i use itunes in the background so there is really no need for a in-game mp3

Yes. I loved it in GTA and Trackmania. The reason it's better than just playing music while playing the game is that you can select exactly those songs and tracks that fit within the atmosphere of the game. Also, you don't have to alt-tab, and you will automatically still hear the original music every once in a while (without it getting too annoying or not hearing it at all).
You can use keybindings with winamp that work while in game. You don't need to alt tab. Just load up winamp with your favorite music before you load up d3 and while in game press ctrl+alt+page up/page down to switch between songs. Make sure you enable global keybindings in the options for winamp though, or else it won't work. There are also keybindings to mute winamp, or change the volume, just about anything.

Obviously an in game mp3 player would be optional to use and the default would be the music from the game.....regardless it would be a waste of time to develop I think.....plus someone will probably make an addon for it or something

It would be a bit unnecessary to make an ingame mp3 player
Hopefully D3 isnt one of those games that glitches when you alt+tab

Common sense be damned.
OMG i have nothing but problems with diablo one and two with alt tabbing. Usually i cannot alt tab again to even fix the problem.
IDK if blizzard decides to put an in game mp3 option, that would be cool with me. Otherwise I dont mind alt tabbing either.
