Hey guys, I was thinking. Lets give the developers at Diablo 3 some encouragement. I think we naturally tend to talk and say things about their ideas that we DONT like as opposed to what we do like about what they are doing.
I am rather positive they scan our forums all the time for our ideas and how we feell about things.
So lets give them the thumbs up about what they are doing. Maybe they will be so psyched about what we have to say they will get even more work done on this cool game.
I hope they are not wasting time reading message boards when they could be working on the game
The best thing we could do is send them a barrel of Red Bull
I'd do it. If they read this they should message me and tell me where specifically to send it
I love what they have done with the skill trees... Putting them all together was one of their best ideas. Maybe it will encourage cookie-cutter builds, but I don't care cause I play single player only.
I love the rune system, I can't wait to try it.
I love the time bubble of the wizard, it got me so excited it made me register in this forum (you can check my introduction thread if you want xD)
I basically love every bone they have thrown at us
I love the isometric camera. It's the core of diablo and i'm glad they dindn't touch it.
I love what Jay Wilsom said about the fact that you finished D2 in hell but still have to do endless farms to reach the cap and D3 will surely be different in this aspects.
I love the importance they are giving to the in-game lore.
I love how they are trying to increasing the complexity of gameplay and cooperative play.
I love the classes announced, expecially the doc, and how the skills are cool like wiz's slow time and doc's plague of frogs.
I love the rune system, it may bring back the old D1 feeling of drop a item that suddenly give you a new power.
I may love the new level design (keep random dungeons but build then in larger blocks, so the dungeosn are not just a bunch of random doors and corridors that makes no sense).
I love the games that are inspiring then in terms of monster and boss encounters (god of war, zelda's and wow).
I love the fact that the items will work about the same.
I love the enfort in eliminating old flaw like rushs, running, the stats system and the pot/tp system.
Did you guys have a long look at the awesome amount of detail in Diablo3? Just look at the screenshots for a couple of seconds, normaly you don't really see it. Just take a good look, you'll be amazed.
I like everything about the game, classes, new skill tree system, ui, skill bar, the skills, the bosses shown so far, the detail, the physics, the environment, the graphics.
The only thing I really hate about the game is that Im almost sure it won't come out in 2009
I love how Blizzard are managing to keep everyone's expectations high by doing what they are doing... you know showing us a little of crazy stuff, then talking about it for hours explaining everything about it... it just shows how much they care for the games they are making and how they rethink every single aspect of the game, blizz pwns.
The evil developers have taken it from me! Thieves! Thieves!!!
What's that my precious? The release date is not announced yet?
NOOOOOO!!!!!!!
No - but in all seriousness, if there's one thing I really love about diablo 3 is the fact that they are bringing the good old (no pun intended) barbarian from diablo 2.
He was my favorite character back then, and now he's going to continue his violent rampage in a completely new environment so... I think it's great.
And to all those who cried and whined about it not being logical or that he's too old - go play a wizard you nancies!
Not that... there's anything wrong with a wizard.

Rise and rise again, until lambs become lions

In all seriousness I do like how they didn't make it a MMORPG.
I like how they're making another Diablo 3 instead of making a easy cash cow (WOW 2).
I like the unified skill trees (except for the respeccing part).
I like the extinction of synergies.
^The real scrub filter.^
i like the level of detail and thought given to skills (i.e. locust swarm leaving only bones)
i like all 3 classes (so far)
i like that they are really taking their time to produce a "blizzard level*" product.
*a quality of game that is far supirior to others being released in the same generation
I don't know what to say to that. Im gonna go make a sammich.
