Thought I'd post this before I forget. I've been doing skills on the community wiki and I noticed something interesting; some of the modifiers for weapons are now on skills such as leech (revenge) and stun (stunning blows). Also strength is now effecting weapon damage such as in the focused strength skill.
This makes me wonder what implications this will have on the game and gameplay. Since modifiers that were originally found on weapons are now on skills; maybe there will be new modifiers for weapons. Also I think that strength actually having an effect on how much damage a weapon does has pretty interesting implications.
I dunno; the boards and info have been slow it seems and figured I would just bring this to everyone's attention maybe to discuss/debate things further.
I like this idea, I think Blizzard's goal here is to eliminate cookie cutters by allowing gamers to find needed modifiers elsewhere thus freeing up their choices for armors and weapons. Unfortunately once someone finds an unstoppable build it will be copied regardless. But I guess thats part of the fun, finding something that works well, copying it and trying to improve?
