This may be just me, but ive noticed that most people cant seem to decide what they want with diablo. With the barbarian, many complained that it was too boring and a total remake. With the witchdoctor, they complained that they wanted a necromacer. With the wizard, they were finally pleased and liked how it was different from the sorceress. Every class was a total contradiction from the last.
I know this is old news, but ive just begun to notice it. It seems like all diablo fans cant seem to make up their mind.
Your opinion is welcomed, because I might be wrong. But this is just my perspective on the issue.

"I'd rather chop off my ding-dong than admit that booze ain't food!"
Its like this when any big name game with a large following is announced or released. People everywhere bitching about every little thing. I see nothing wrong with the game so far.....and im going to wait for its release before I complain
What probably is happening is that we do not know enough about the game to pinpoint any specifics that are missing.

What is normal? Normal is a concept that everyone or a majority of people are the same or similar. However, we know that everyone is unique. If everyone is unique, then everyone is different. If everyone is different, then everyone is weird. If everyone is weird, then everyone is normal.
I think that we all each have our own expectations, and those are now driven by our imagination on the 6 years we haven't got D3, so we all have our own "playable' Diablo 3 in our heads, and we just can't accept the reality of the real Diablo 3, making us disapointed.
Yeah, the same thing happens with pretty much everything. People generally suck. But I for one am completely happy with Diablo III as it is. I understand the decisions they made and it all makes sense.
Haha good point OP, didn't figure that out yet even when I always like to comment about people whining. You are so right about the barbarian necromancer stuff "remake" "we want necromancer!" lol
Yes, it is just a perspective on the matter, when you anticipate something of the magnitude of D3 then people tend to get lost in their own imagination. Thats what makes it one of the best (if not the best) game of its kind in the market.
What i think is worth noticing though is this: why is Blizzard so damn quiet about this project in development? I mean after BlizzCon and a magazine article containing some new screenshots Blizzard has been holding what we call in greek "Σιγήν Ιχθύος"....quite as a fish! No announcements, not the least update on the website, a new video, something....... Is it possible they are to throw something unexpected in our face sooner than we think (and i am not talking about just a demo)?
The reason theres not a lot of news on D3 is probably because its not gonna be out for a good long time so they want all the news of the game they have to be spread out over that long time frame....If they do this then it will keep it in the minds of people and keep the hype from disappearing altogether.
Well, with as many fans as Diablo has, everyone has their own likes and dislikes in the game. Different features are of varying importance depending on who you ask.
People complain, but it's not always the same people.
Although a few seem to dislike the game more than others. That's also natural.

They weren't too talkative about SC2 after that had been announced either. I remember checking their site pretty often with nothing new.
In fact, it's still pretty slow on updates. Lat real update on Starcraft2.com was in July.
PlugY for Diablo II allows you to reset skills and stats, transfer items between characters in singleplayer, obtain all ladder runewords and do all Uberquests while offline. It is the only way to do all of the above. Please use it.
Supporting big shoulderpads and flashy armor since 2004.
