If you put 1 of each legendary gem in your stash you actually stop getting them from the RGs . And the only use for legendary gems you don't want is to level them and use them to augment your ancients.
Also, if you have all of the legendary gems and you want to farm a specific one for an alt, you can move that gem to another character/go back and hit rg and get that gem.

Some insight to your gamertag perhaps? Having a hard time feeling bad for you somehow...
I didn't ask anyone to feel bad for me, just displaying to OP that having lots of gems is not a bad thing, quite the contrary. Also, what do you mean by "insight to my gamertag"?
As a little bit of background, I play all six classes and used to have multiple active builds but hate gem switching, and in seasons 1+2 a rank 50 gem was easy to get but good enough for all my toons, so I put a rank 50 gem on every char to not having to switch. That's why I have so many Trapped/Powerful/Gogok gems.
So far it seems like the best I can do besides stashing the gems on another character is to just drop them. Am I missing something?

The "feeling bad' was an attempt at humor, which seems to have gone wandering, and you have a Bag of Stones or Gems...
I should have your problem with all those gems sacked away...
