It's true that b.net forums are worse. If I go there one more time I'll suffer a stroke I swear. There are obvious retards here, but also people like Kenzai who might be annoying, and think that repetition makes things true, but at least he's trying to discuss and not just troll.
I honestly can't complain about anything in Diablo III.
I haven't played it, and if I did, I'm sure the art, and the health globes, and all the other controversial issues would be void when I get my hands on the game. I wonder what the feedback will be like when thousands of fans get to play the game demo at BlizzCon....
Has anyone even BEEN to the D3 battle net official forum, its 1000x worse for complaining than here, at least we don't have bots spamming pvp complaints 1000 times.
Just because the official forum is the #1 worst forum in the universe (just joking) doesn't mean we should be only a bit better than then. Besides, at this point I am not sure if we are all that better. It is just as hard to make sense of anything on this website as on bnet forums.

I think they are just being even handed with the fansites...Diablofans is not the only one you know.
Diablofans is where I started off. It's sad for me to see it go down on battle.net forums level. It doesn't have to be "even handed with the fansites". It should be better. Or else it's just another random website full of random people whining about everything and never ever getting punished for it.

I am with you on this I am not going to bash the game tell it comes out thats if there is any thing I don't like about it. Right now I don't really see any thing I don't like only because we haven't seen everything they have planned and have to offer to us. I am the type of person that waists to say any thing bad about something tell it comes out movies/games ect.

I don't think there is a problem with the administration, maybe you are saying that because you think you would be better at doing their job ? I think not.
They let people express their free speech. They can just delete every thread that criticism Diablo 3. I would have been the first to leave.
She was actually a mod, and alot of people dont like to say it, but a damn good one at that.
(Don't tell her I said that, don't want her to get a big head...)

It should be, but the way it's being handled, it just isn't. We have mods screwing around, trolls and flamers going unchecked, admins telling us that we arn't allowed to talk about site issues like the banner not going home, and countless other problems, and yet people still expect us to be on the Diablo 3 website? It was a service if anything, as we are far from good enough to be on the main site.
My apologies, but the truth hurts and someone has to say it.
Blackmailing fansites with the intention of infringing free speech
I wouldn't say Blizzard is blackmailing this forum. They don't have anything to gain in return. Infringing free speech? It's not Blizzard is hiring hitmen to forcefully enter your home to tape up your mouth and break all your fingers all just to prevent you from voicing whatever 'opinions' you have about D3.
First off, would Blizzard be childish enough to take us off their homepage because a few of the members didn't like certain parts of Diablo III? I doubt it. Read Mockery's post a while back. It explains everything - and they didn't do it as black mail. That's just ridiculous.
Maybe, whats the reason then to remove the link to the biggest Diablo fansite/forum? (apart from their site ofc)
Have you seen the forums lately? They probably would of kept this site on if it was a good community, but it just isn't. Go ahead, take a look at some of the recent threads. Take a look at some of the signatures. Take a look at the people whining.
The mere fact that the petition originated from here is enough that if I was in charge, I would of taken diablofans off the D3 site a LONG time ago.
It's an unofficial fansite. Why the hell should they have to recognize us? Should the recognize every last Diablo fansite? That would be a mighty big page. Mighty big page indeed.

Maybe I'll make a thread that actually supports Blizzard's decisions with Diablo III... Seems like we don't have one of those...
We do. We have many, they just get burried in the flame and the troll and the "SIGN THE PETITION TO CHANGE THE COLOR SCHEME!"
If only there was someone who could delete the trash...
I think they bought the domain, but that's niether here nor there. I feel something special about Diablo3.com/Diablofans.com as well, it is my first forum ever. But that doesn't make me bias towards it, it's still out of control and it's still an unofficial site that is not controlled by Blizzard. Thus Blizzard has no reason that it should recognize us.

Its the biggest and most well known one?
Maybe i'm too cynical. In my defense i'm more annoyed with Blizzard then with D3.
I think D2JSP.com and DIII.com are bigger sites actualy... And I think they are more well known... I think this site just got lucky that it got the name...

I am not a fan of Jazz music.
on a good day.... Optimistic and freedom-loving Jovial
and good-humored Honest and straightforward
Intellectual and philosophical
On a bad day.... Blindly optimistic and careless
Irresponsible and superficial Tactless and restless
Well, we're noticed as an official fansite by Blizzard. Not sure how far that will take us, though. Do you mean like, we're not "Blizzard" owned, per say?
I doubt this will change anything, Diablofans.com is mentioned so much all over the internet that the attention on this site will not die unless the admins try to put in stupid little games (Unless they could add a flash version of Diablo *Copy right denial probably*)
Anonymous invaded Blizzard Forums. It's just a bunch of angsty kids up to no good. I don't see any worth in weighing in what is said in Blizz Forums.
It might just be me being a diablo 3 skeptic, but I'd like to know which forums the Diablo 3 team is observing and how much they visit said forums.
It'd be nice if the blizzard team would give credit to the communities that have contributed in some way to generating content and features too.
