What will you do if you don't like Diablo 3 after you buy it? An interview recently came out (MD has yet to post it) that states Blizzards art department won't change the art style. This has ruined my day. Even though they wont change it to my liking, I will still buy it.
However, in all seriousness, if I feel let down by SC2 and D3, I will never buy a Blizzard game again.

What is normal? Normal is a concept that everyone or a majority of people are the same or similar. However, we know that everyone is unique. If everyone is unique, then everyone is different. If everyone is different, then everyone is weird. If everyone is weird, then everyone is normal.
If you liked the gameplay video, and thought it'd be fun to play it yourself, there's no reason to think you'd hate the game when it's released. So there isn't really an element of surprise here...
I'm slowly starting to think that Blizzard has lost its touch. I'm in firm belief that what we see in D3 will be fairly watered down in terms of combat. I didn't see anything in the gameplay video that made go "WOW" besides the fact that Diablo 3 is actually going to exist. The combat was dull, the abilities shown were sub-par (besides the zombie wall... which was more powerful than what we'll see in the game).
I think D3 is going to be incredibly over developed and incredibly hyped like Tabula Rasa. Sucks that I think this because I really want to like D3 but the attitude that Blizzard has taken is very poor.

It also doesn't work in the market anymore.
Did you actually watch the high quality video?
How is that dull?! the blood and pieces they were flying everywhere, even straight at you! The screen was shaking after every blow, it was intense!

And we can tell this, of coarse, from a mere 20 minutes of footage and some screenshots. Sherlock's got game.
This game is gonna be good. Nobody, and I mean nobody, should/can assume whether Blizzard has lost their touch yet until they have lost their touch. They haven't released any failure games yet, and as far as I know their latest release (Burning Crusade) became the fastest selling game or expansion (forgot which one). Since Blizzard has a record for legendary and would-be classic games, I think its safe to assume that D3 will continue Blizzard's reign of success and help show HackNSlash producers out there how not to produce a HackNSlash.
The game will sell well no matter what because they have a habit of plagarizing and pulling it off. This is proof that they don't give a shit about concerns from the community, they said they're outright ignoring the dissent, The hope has always been that the gaming companies would balance Community and Self properly but as the commercialism has given way, an unaccountable element has entered the fray and as thus the age of true community was shortlived.
This is actually more disappointing than what funcom has done with Age of Conan, sure they don't show signs of listening to the community (well actually they have and they undid a major fuck up, the grey quests) but blizzard south is going to ride all over this and rain a shit storm, and non of you will realize it until the next game.
I myself will buy Diablo 3 once, and never buy again after the purposefully low quality CD scratches and is unplayable. I can't shake this feeling, the feeling I'm extremely rarely wrong about, that this game will not be a spiritual successor, and just lose interest quickly.
I'm going to call it and say that this game will sell extremely well but in the long run sell quite horribly, and not live up to the scale of sales over time that Diablo 2 had.
OMG! this is pathetic! you ppl are whingeing about twenty minutes (which i thought was AWESOME!) of gameplay footage to a game they barely have started to finish!
My monthly MAG I always buy had all three vids of D3 on their cover DVD.
Friends of mine that despise diablo 2 gameplay, bought the same mag for the spore creature creator, had a look at D3, called me up, knowing what a huge diablo fan i am and told me that what they saw in that gameplay vid was absolutely viscerally awesome and that ths has convinced them to buy d3, when released.
BTW: Go watch the vid again, and listen carefully. (eg. this is the first of the summonable pets, the mongrel... the first!)

I will buy both Star Craft 2 and Diablo 3 and I don't care whether you buy it or not.

But I suppose that's where all threads go when they're basically a hypthetical question.
