Night Elf story has him in it. (Also, I think he's in the Alliance story, if your talking TFT, as that's where the Beast Master story is...)
Ya, i never played the regular campaign pre tft

I think a grunt and a forceful clench of the fist would work well... especially with "TIME TO DIE!!!"
Now that I could go for, not all emotes are the comical ones from WOW or Fable. Trouble is, most are. And are by their very nature, not suited to Diablo and it's much darker, serious overtones, some on the other hand are. Like the ones you just spoke of.

-Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is alchemy's First Law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only, truth.
And by the sounds of things D3 will have less than that. They seem content on 4-5 man teams. 4 I think.
D1 styles.

/sit: Your character would sit, the style depending on class and sex.
/pray: I know this will be a unpopular one as some people will say there aren't a lot of classes that pray in Diablo, but for the ones that have characters whom wish to pray I'd say why not.
/taunt: This could be a multitude of things depending on your class. Like how when you selected a character to make in D2 the necro would have a glowing hand, and the barbarian would roar.
/facepalm: Your character grabs his head and shakes it in frustration.
Also since it seems they decided for each character to have a voice actor based on the Cain/Barbarian talk, they could have a few sound ones as well:
/yes: Your character says yes and nods.
/no: Your character shakes his head disapprovingly and says no.
/follow: Your character makes the follow motion and says "Come with me." or something similar.
There is a lot that would work well in the Diablo world.
Sit: Not suited for Diablo. I'll rest when all the foul demons and angels are dead.
Pray: There are no deities that look over Sanctuary so why would anyone waste time praying? People only have their fellow human race to rely on.
Taunt: That would be very nice, agree 100%.
Facepalm: Characters from Diablo are tough motherfuckers so they don't get frustrated, ever. If you mean frustration because of a battlenet kid you are playing with you can just write sigh and /facepalm in real life.
Yes/no/follow: I'd be ok with it as long as the voice acting doesn't suck, which I'm especially worried for the female characters. Verbal taunts and evil laughter like elfen lied and few others suggested would be cool.

Amazons have gods, Necromancers and all the followers of the Cult of Rathma have Rathma and Trag'Oul. Barbarians have The Ancients and Bul-Kathos. Paladins have the prophet Akarat and the Angel Yarius, Rogues have a Giant Eye
The only ones that do not have a deity or God to pray to are the mage clans, like the Sorcerer/Sorceress/Assassin. And maybe the Druid.

Trust me, if a warrior never rests, he'll be dead very, very soon.
You take realism in a game way to seriously Equinox. By that logic we should be forced to rest rather than just having a /sit emote, which wont happen. How do you know anyway that warriors from Sanctuary are not able to fight for days or weeks without resting?

Oh
lol I guess I should read the Diablo books if they ever get to this side of the world.
Most of what I said above is actually found through the games and their manuals.

hahaha! yea I remember going through Diablo II and LoD without my char even eating or drinking water
and that was supposed to be over a span of a couple of months.
and thats not to mention the fact that he never slept, or sat.
but he seemed to have no problem with it at all, he was able to kill Diablo and Baal with little trouble.

I'm just going against someone's stupid remark that warriors of Sanctuary are unable/shouldn't be able to rest. It's just silly to say "OMG demons" means people can't sit.
If those guys are humans, they would share all our possibilities, being great warriors doesn't mean you can't sit, rest, think, laugh, etc. If they didn't do those things they wouldn't survive for long.

Umm... Im pretty sure she wasnt serious.
You totally did not read the post I was replying to, did you?
people calm down, the /dance jokes served their purpose. If i would have given actual decent ones rather than detestable ones then no one would even taken this seriously because there's a small chance i'd have all the bases covered. But this, this is beautiful. People are actually discussing it and coming up with some nice ideas.
As a side note, why did this get moved to suggestions? There's no way in hell I want these in the actual game (except maybe sit. MAYBE)
...hmm, I wonder if they'll still include those soundbites or would emotes take over them?

Sit is perfectly suited for any game. People don't stand 24/7. Just like while you're on D2 you're not killing demons 24/7.
What if you want to sit in a trade game? Or just some down time waiting for a friend or something.
It's not like it releaves you of anything.
Why would you want to do a lot of things?
It's a game, it's just adding to it for those who choose to use the emotes.
Die! Time to Die! Die! Tiime to Die! Hello. Hello. Greetings. This is for you. Die!
Oh no someone is going to spam sit. That's horrible.
People spam the ones in D2, and I imagine we will at least see some like they have in D2.
Oh really!? I believe I just said that!
I don't entirely believe we were talking only of sit.
