I hope you are kidding. Focusing only on ban waves distracts players from the actual problem : game core / dev team.
At this point, Blizzard is very clever and buys a lot of time.
If Blizzard stops these waves, players will get (again) frustrated of the gameplay in the usual never ending circle.
So, we have come to a point that we worship Blizzard? Oh, CMON....
There are many issues indeed within the game. MANY. But in seasons 4-5 botting was main problem i think. It became truly massive and must be stopped at all costs. Legit players like me completely gave up competing in clans/leaderboards, and this is the only thing left in this game for end-game players.
The support guy did not even know that happend before I told him. So it seems they are not doing it manualy. I think It is done automatically when your game licence status is changed. Same happend to me before long time ago when my account was hacked for real. I had to wait for maintenance and after it I was back on LB.
looks like they are done with the top of the leaderboards, didnt see any bans there in the last two waves.
The fourth banwave let people gain about 50 ranks, and the most recent banwave this morning removed players like RealMage, #1 remaining wizard from SoS who held a top 10 spot on the NA leaderboards, IIRC. So nope, they're not done ;-)
Well, comparing results on world ladder from yesterday when I was ranked 1750 (+/- 2 spots) and today when I'm 1470 it is not hard to calculate that in the world 280 cheaters that were better ranked among seasonal barbarians were banned. Hence, I would not call banwave V minor.

If anyone use this site for other classes and knows what position it was yesterday, would be nice to see how many of their hero class were removed due to cheating.
