I have no reason to lie here. If I was banned for botting/THUD, why should I even bother posting here? It hurts a lot seeing people trolling here. I thought you guys would be more civilized than those in the Battle.net forums.
I have Logitech SetPoint installed in my computer, but I never configured that. I think this might have gotten me banned.
You would expect people who don't bot or use THUD to feel bad for you (if you were theoretically banned for them)?
Btw, excuse me if I am going too off-topic, but today I was just wondering - if you are banned in D3, does that prevents you from playing the other Blizzard games that are connected to that account (assuming you have bought SC2 or WoW for example) or just D3?

You can still play all other games - only your D3 license is banned. You can "replace" the license with a new one if you buy D3 again. Your account as such is not banned, and you can continue to play other games. However, you'll get a temporary ban for the D3 forums (2 days in the case of this banwave).
i talk about back in the days when we had like 5 buffs which were filled with monk auras and ppl had to use else thud or the coe cycle website to actually see theyr buffs. on top of that u can sort out bad servers from good servers by just seeing the ports of the servers which should be implemented in the usuall ui
I use HUD, AHK and D3Helper for LoN sader- never ever miss a physical cycle on the ring!
Just checked some leaderboards, the bottom entries climbed about 50ish ranks or so over night... so yeah, the fourth banwave *did* affect the leaderboards.
If they keep doing this, it would be interesting to compare the top 100 from before the first banwave with the "final" one.

Yeah... on some leaderboards some people maybe gained like 5 ranks or so, but as in previous waves it seems to mostly hit season. It's really hard to check all of that though, the official site is damn slow and I'm at work so can't check in-game
If anyone is in-game, just go to Diabloprogress, check the rank 1000 player, and compare their rank to the one on the in-game leaderboards. That way you can easily check how many ranks someone climbed "over night". Need to be quick though, as soon as Diabloprogress updates it won't show the difference anymore.

That is because some players pushed non season before they switched to season. You have to look at date of this records. Some people are playing season + non season combined. OFC if they ban your account they ban you from game as a whole. Also someone can be temporary removed from LB because of other reasons even if they never cheated. For example if they lock your account (temporary suspend licence) to protect it from hackers it will remove account from LB until next maintenance. I am 90% sure that strictly non season players where not banned still.
Problem with no ban wave for non season is TIME. For example some people where banned and their record was removed but only for this season. If you check LB for previous season you can still find them there. This is because LB is locked when season/era ends. Now we know season 6 and current era will end 15th April. We also know there where 4 ban waves for season now. First ban wave was 15 days ago. So I just wonder how much time is left to ban in non season also.
Word in my clan now is that season players are used to start from 0 so they will most probably buy new game. On the other side are non season players that hate to start from 0 and if they ban them they know they will not come back to the game.

First, unfortunately you can't tell the date of deleted records (date of clear is only shown on the in-game/official leaderboards, but not on Diabloranks, Diabloprogress, Diablo3Ladder since it's not part of the API). So you can't tell who's gone, you can only see who's left.
Secondly, it looks like leaderboard entries are removed manually. So if they were to focus only on seasonal players and would wipe all associated records, why are all the pre-S5/era5 rankings still there? Just go look up all the SoS and WQW guys or Wudijo - their rankings from season 1-4 are still there.
@agostoking: Not for EU/NA. In China they post a wall of shame (though it's technically not Blizzard but NetEase), I have no idea why they don't do this in our region as well. No reason not to publicly shame cheaters in my opinion, deterrence can be a vital part of punishment.

Some companies have tried public shaming, they have usually not liked the following lawsuits. Its not worth the hassle.
Especially when Blizzard will even tell you to buy new account.
I'm sorry for the inconvenience that this has caused you, but we will not be looking into discussing this matter any further and it does mean that if you wish to play Diablo 3 again, you will need to buy a brand new account.
Take care. Regards,The Customer Support Team

I see . Thanks a lot for the fast answers .
I use nothing and never miss a physical cycle.
This time I think I saw effect since I jumped some 25 spots on solo barb EU. With a pathetic 79 grift.
Season 6 barbarian solo sc EU grift 85 12m 23.199s MotE build
Season only again?
Season 6 barbarian solo sc EU grift 85 12m 23.199s MotE build
Nothing new on non season LB. Time is running out.

And here is what I think they are banning for.
1 click = 1 action in game = you are safe
number of clicks < number of actions in game = you are banned
I think they just don't care if you used this or that software or even macro. They just ban you.
So I think using macro will ban you while using map hack will no ban you sadly.
They can do this without scanning you memory, in compliance with privacy law.
If they want to detect someone with Map hack I think they will have to use totally different detection methods.
My friend botter on NS still bots.
Waiting for NS banwave.

@Bagstone
They are not removed from there as older LBs are already locked like I already wrote.
