Anyone got any details? Is that perma bans or just until the end of the season? Does THUD gets you banned as well (just wondering, never used anything like that)? Was this wave announced before?

I am really happy it happened - now a person can check the leaderboards and see who the real players are!

I don't think there's any "new" info about it. I also don't think that "all" botters got caught. It's great thing though.

I get to drink salty tea for weeks now (made from their tears!)

Nobody's posting anything on the THUD forums but I'll let you know when I get home from work if I'm banned and/or the length of time of it.

It looks to be permanent bans, I just read on the demonbuddy forums and there are all these butthurt botters being like man, para 2100 GR86 crusader RIP and well didn't matter I wasn't even playing anymore. They are posting official account closure notifications also in their thread, I recommend to hit up their forums if you want a good chuckle! I guess one guy said he hasn't played in a month either, so seems like their detection has gone back some time, which is good. RIP to all the dbag botting scum!

These scumbags will bot every fucking season and after ban, they get an new account and go back to botting, god i wish blizz would just blacklist their debit/credit cards to keep em away from the game a bit longer

I wish blizzard would go after them legally. They are profitting on their stream using their intellectual properties and breaking the tos.

Blizzard should sue for all the revenue made and make them pay the court costs

SoS clan got savaged hard according to the D3 forums.

look at the leaderboards man. SoS got destroyed. as far as we know Chainer88 was the only legit streamer from that clan.

Good to see but sadly not good enough they should do it more often , why is it hard to play this game legit?

Looking at a lot of the forums for the bots it looks like d3helper, ROSbot and demon buddy users all got banned. Doesn't look like it's centralized to just one or two. Quite a few of them are saying that that they didn't start botting until after the tripwire event from demonbuddy. Probably just something that's been on going for awhile.

Meh. Good to se they're taking actions against botters, but none of my clanmates have been banned and I know for certain that some of them have been botting almost 24/7 since the season start
