There must be an item which allows teleport (like Enigma in d2), this allows for skilled and faced paced PVP, if not for the nigma in d2 diablo's pvp community would of died after a week; funpk's and clan duels could simply not exist at the highley skilled levels in which nigma allows.
Also it would be cool if they added a feature which allowed players to toggle between 'BM' (bad manners) and 'GM' (good manners) PVP 'areana types' or rooms. Another cool feature i think is the ability to place bets (using gold) on pk's.
I think the exact opposite, items like Enigma and Call To Arms are what ruined pk/pvp in Diablo II
Blizzard have stated that for Diablo III they are only releasing 5 classes and are working to make them all very unique. So I highly doubt there will be + other class skill items for such important skills like Teleport and Battle Orders anyway

i think they should stay, they revolutionized pvp. with out them bone necros and wind druids, wc barbs, and a host of other unique builds wouldnt have been thought of and utilized. all u saw in pvp before enigma was bowazons and sorcs and ww barbs. sometimes a javazon and sometimes a pally, good pallys owned :P, or wolf druid.

Exactly but hopefully at the same time they include skills that are unique but can negate eachother somewhat.
For example, charge is useful against a sorc that loves to teleport all over.

Oh god yes, That would be a really good idea to be honest, good thinking
First of all, I think it's the way to go because it makes things much more interesting and allows for more builds. They should have an item that be usable for all the classes with a from each class. And also, some that are class specific but give you a skill from another class like Fury in Diablo 2.

I think honestly, Enigma in a way ruined it. But it didn't make the person as if they were invincible. So no, i dont think they should leave something like that out. Sure, sometimes it gave an advantage over certain classes, but there were usually some ways to work around that if you were good. If your not a great pvper, then expect to lose. As harsh as they may sound...it's the truth. If you feel like your gonna get walked all over, due to gear and your lack of experience just dont bother.
Enigma needs to go. It's a class defining spell for the sorceress, and shouldn't be just given to every class.
For those who say that it gave weaker classes a chance, you don't know how the class balance will be in D3. I'm sure they will design spells and balance the classes in such a way that there is no reliance on the fact that everyone have teleport.
haha so u like a pvp with all ww barbs and ice sorcs and some bowazons, because that was before .10
what are u talkin about with diversity there?
with enigma every character was about the same, just different primary skills and a few different misc items here and there
other than that all chars were pretty much the same; like pre-made cutouts haha
if that makes sense haha
as for pvp i saw light sorcs, zealers, bone necs, etc
they weren't the choice builds but they were still present.
when i pvp'ed in 1.09 things were fine.. IMO i didn't see a problem with it
haha my bad, i keep editing this post,
as one of the other posters said, its a sorc skill, therefore i think it should stay purely with the sorc.
i didn't find a problem with charges, but once +skills came along it kinda trailed off for me but thats getting more off topic

i played since .08 and i pvped about 98% of the countless hours i played, id say the majority of chars pre .10 are those ive mentioned, about 99% of the chars in all major pvp games. after .10 that list blossomed to include chars that used more of the skill tree, thus more diversity.
as for d3, who knows how the balance would be? but i like the idea of having class skills from other chars, whether charges or not, it just provides more depth and creativity.

when you talk about different builds appearing, yes it was very diverse.
i guess what i meant (looking back at the post i re-edited it alot haha) was that once enigma was introduced every build (at least the casters) were similar in item setup and point allocation (but then it could just be the items) bah i dunno
I agree, Enigma is utter bullshit! I hate class-crossing. It's utter bullshit! If you can't beat some one with your own skills then you don't deserve to PvP.

I personally would prefer if there is no form of teleport at all in D3. It's a really gamebreaking or at least gamechanging ability. If you couldn't teleport through walls it would be a lot different, but I definitely don't like the idea of all classes being able to teleport from a piece of armor either.

What about before 1.10 then?
If anything, using Enigma requires less skill in PvP. Its much harder (and more fun) to PvP without Teleport
but pvping a tele bone necro did take more skill than a running one. and it was more fun.

If Blizzard are smart then they should make the Diablo III PK/PvP system fast paced and exciting without every class having Teleport
pvp was just fine in 1.09
also having an item allow every character use teleport would imo ruin the game
so much for having diversity haha
