It's not Blizzard's responsibility to keep kids off of Battle.Net. As far as Blizzard is concerned; the client has payed for the game so the client is entitled to use all of it's features (which is reasonable). It is partially up to the distributors (eg: Gamestop/EB Games, Futureshop, Bestbuy etc.) to stop little brats from begging their parents to buy it for them but also the deadbeat parents who give into their children's whining. So before you go on a tirade to stop Blizzard from letting kids onto Battle.net, please consider what I mentioned above. Just my two cents:thumbsup:
The best way to filter the battle.net is by asking social security number or driver license number for identity verification.
dude really what the crap, social security number?, i doubt most people over 18 would give blizzard there social security number. THat would just kill blizzard sales.
internet gameplay is not for kids in general and will never be to any decent parent, lol, but sadly that statment is only a false utopia in my head according to most people here, (aka kids) thanks to crap parenting of the world.
stick to offline if your a MATURE gamer, and with real life mates, its more fun. lets the kids muck around like kids with strangers.
You guys are fucking retarded. I'm fifteen and I've been playing Diablo 2 since I was EIGHT! And for six years of that time I've been a rather decent gamer and for all seven I've been eloquent and intelligent.
I can go to any EBGames or Gamestop and buy any M Rated games without having to worry about an ID check. I look like I'm 18-21, christ.
You need to stop bitching.
Seriously.

Blizzard is not responsible for the death and loss of your hardcore characters for any reason including Internet lag, bugs, Acts of God, your little sister, or any other reason whatsoever. Consult the End User License Agreement for more details. Blizzard will not, and does not have the capability to restore any deceased Hardcore characters. Don't even ask. La-la-la-la-la, we can't hear you..,
Yes, because my parents should just put me into care. They let me play games on the internet, what bad, bad parents.
I hope you are never a parent yourself, I feel sorry for your future children.
no, or then again maybe they should, i dont know ya.
parents fuck up kids, not kids. they get over exposed, to scumbags in life, which again is not really a bad thing, just on there own it could lead to many issues.
hell id let my kids play as much games as they want lol, but ill be there to explain to them whats moral whats not and still let them enjoy themselves, not letting him go fucking about growing up to be a sadistic person who fails at life, hoping he can take it out against the online worlds.
it matters on the person, some people kid or not are more you could say, sensitive, to that type of stuff, but still to single out a entire group because of a couple players is just wrong, not saying your saying it though.

Right, parents who allow their children access to internet based games are deadbeats and said children who wish to play the games are all brats? Oh, and its distributor's job to prevent kids from buying their games and thus keeping themselves in business? I don't think kids are the problem, I think immature people with inane arguments like you are.

Don't try to be a great man, just be a man... and let history make its own judgment. -Zefram Cochrane, Star Trek
Wow, are you being an ignorant douchebag on purpose or is this an elaborate joke and I've just missed the bulletin?
My parents have never filtered what I've played or watched, and I've turned out fine. Going to say my parents have fucked me up because they aren't control freaks? I get brilliant grades, I'm smart, got a job, have loads of friends and build and upgrade pc's in my spare time. Yes, I fail at life. Must have been all that time playing Diablo II.
thats good for you mate.
how old are you?
cause, im refereing to the kids under 14 that dont know how to have fun without ruining someone elses expirience, sorry if i didn't clear it,
i mean, go to a random school and give them a online game were you can kill each other and look at the average 14 yr old play, leave it with them for months watch them get far in it.
then tell me how many of them do you think are mature. lol
you sound like you got a good life, great job, but guess what, theres more immature kids out there that probably haven't even been given the care that you have. its just up to whoever rasing them can take a risk or not, and ive got nothing against filtering mature stuff for my kids if i choose to by it for them, so again, maybe you'd let your 12 yr olds run around on diablo on lvl 90 killing noobs, good for you. its just as a gamer grown up you try to stop that for everyones sake. instead of letting it happen over and over cause you don't give a crap.
