Confess!!! How much time have you already spent on Diablo 3?
Have you watched the gameplay video more than once? What about the cinematics? How many times have you posted on this blog? And on the Battlenet forum? Did you read each section of the official website? Have you googled news of the release?
It's been less than a week since the announcement and I think I've already spent 3-6 hours obessing over a game that isn't likely to be out until December 2009 (no, that's not offiical, that's my guestimate... I would so love to be pleasantly surprised that it will be this December or even next July).
I just did a more thoughtful appraisal of my time, sigh, and I have to double my estimate to 6-12 hours. And that doesn't count having to break out LOD and revisit the necromancer.
I wished for diablo 3 during the whole splash screen teaser episode. Since the gameplay video was released I have been watching it daily, sometimes multiple times. Constantly talk to a few of my buddies about it. Worst part is it could be years before it is actually released and I will not be able to get it out of my mind...
I think I could suffer less if i knew more about the classes and some of the other game mechanics.
I am too damn old to be fiending over video games like this lol.
I've probably watched the gameplay video for about an hours worth of total time, including the time I spent looking at, or for, certain things like bodies on the ground, etc.
I've probably spent, again, about an hour or two reading stuffs from the website.
I don't see how one could spend much any more time on it and gain anything from it.
you mean waiting it and searching for some clue if where going to be real ? or after the anounce ?
in both cases i cant calculate the time ....
and the videos i have seen it like 15 times ( i think so ) looking details and videos whit modify colors (darker)....
searching some stuff in blizzard img ,videos and forums also.
I'd say I've spent 4 to 6 hours reading about and watching the vids of D3. That's only because I'm trying not to get to excited, since the game is probably a year or more away. No use in suffering the wait all the longer XD.

Same here! It's so crazy...we probably won't see the game for at least a year yet here I am, every day...reading posts, posting myself, checking for news, watching the gameplay demo over and over...
atleast a year, praying for blizzard to release some sign of a new diablo... constantly google searching to see people's thoughts on what might happen in the future
What is this, the Diabloholics anonymous meething?
(stands up, raises his hand to the square and says) Hi, my name is Elder and I'm a Diabloholic. Since the announcement I've spent every possible moment that' I've had on the internet haning around this and other related sites. I've watched the gameplay trailer twice, and heaven knows how many times I've seen the cinematic.

It's the decisions you make when you have no time to make them that define who you are.
