You know, I was actually a big fan of the way Guild Wars did their "lobby"s, where the characters would hang out and interact in the towns, get a group together, then exit into the instanced world. If they were to find a way to integrate that into the game, I think it would be quite immersive. It allows you, in my opinion, to stay immersed in the world instead of a chat-room with tons of flooding of "WTS -insert crap here-"
Yeah I agree, it's a cool concept, but unfortunately I think we're getting a revamped Battle.Net just like the old one.

I would love that, so long as there are enough cities so that they're not too crowded. Which might be difficult, because D3 is gonna have a loooot of people playing it... edit: I just remembered there's four servers, for different parts of the world, and I just remembered that Guild Wars used a really nice server system, where there might be 7 of the same city if a lot of people happen to be in that city, but if you wanted to meet a friend you could just change from CITYNAME 7 to CITYNAME 5, or whatever.

Ranger - Ranged Weapon Mastery (fire a bow or javelins like a machine gun!), Traps (MK style!), Pets (lions, tigers, and bears oh my!) - physical damage based
Demonologist - Bone Spells (Necro style!), Avatar (shapeshift into a demon!), Furies (evil spirits that hang around you, giving party bonuses) - mix of physical damage and magic
LEAP ATTACK!!!!! PLAGUE OF TOADS!!!!!
SLOW TIME!!!!!
1. Mic support (being able to speak to your friends without the hassel of getting vent)
2. Ping Checking (this might be more helpful for Starcraft 2, but a good function nevertheless)
3. Country Checking (also good for the same reason as stated above. And it can answer questions like "Where you from?")
4. A Ban-List (helpful to Starcraft 2 aswell! This way it can remember those shit-talkers, loot thieves and pkers. As long as the host remains in the game, the ban-listed player cannot join)
5. Trading system (so people don't go to the trade channel and spam with their hacks // also takes care of all the forum-gold business)
6. Clan recruiting system (so people don't make bots to spam in the guild section)
Yeah but how do you integrate SC2 players into that?
Well if you think about it, there were only specific rooms where players on different games could interact. Perhaps the D3 players will be able to see each other in the town, and the SC2 players will be represented in the chat log, but not in the town itself. Or maybe these channels will direct you to actual text channels as opposed to a town if there are SC2 players. Just some brainstorming.

Why can't a heterosexual guy tell a heterosexual guy that he thinks his booty is fly?
What will it look like?
how would you want it to look like?
Will is be easy to login in?
Better server"s?
More room in server's?
Pretty what would you want Battle net to look like and feel like and work like in Diablo 3
I couldnt care less what it looks like, just fix the fucking lag problems and i'll be happy. nothing worse than bashing on d in a group and fuckin lag kicks in and then youre dead.

It's the decisions you make when you have no time to make them that define who you are.
