Hey guys, today I go over some of the 2.4.1 datamined notes and give my (previously accurate) predictions on release dates for the PTR, the patch, and Season 6.
Based on previous history and some comments by Blizz, we can expect the following:
---
PTR this coming week, before March 12th
Season 5 ending Friday, April 15th
2.4.1 on Tuesday, April 19th
Season 6 on Friday, April 22nd (if something goes wrong worst case is Friday April 29th)
Best stuff is increasing Ik 6p to 400%, i guess its for Raekor to become even more ridiculous than now? The fact they didnt touch Raekor 4p really shocked me.
This, and the D3 devs are doing everything to keep it shit. Fire them already...
AARPGs are the same shit over and over again... D2 was the same shit over and over again... POE is the same shit over and over again. It's a game about killing demons and becoming stronger and stronger. Wtf do you want? LOL

How can you blame the actual d3 team? The team is like 20 times smaller than at the development. They have trouble even doing these small patches i think
On blizzcon the d3 content area was smaller than the toilet area .
Its more about blizzard should invest more into d3 so they have the opportunity to make big changes that might be time consuming.
this season i had more fun than any season before. But who expected any big gameplay changes for the next season (when 1 season is 3 month)
I think it takes way more time... i mean ptr last longer then 1 month like last time.
This is obviously a much smaller patch than last time which in my view aims to fix the mess they made with 2.4 by trying to bring better balance between dps builds and to reduce the effectiveness of pure support builds, Therefore, the length of the PTR can likely be shorter.
I imagine their vision is that this will promote more diversity in group composition when pushing GR's.
Diablos core design has some serious flaws that cannot be fixed by patches or expansions, however it should be more than possible to bring better balance between classes and sets, and this is where the dev team has so far shown stunning incompetence. For all of that, the game itself has given me so much fun and I've sunk endless hours into the very addictive (and frankly boarding on mindless) gameplay it provides.
Honestly, it is almost certain that the next patch will still result in a "meta" that defines the best group for GR pushing, but frankly what I want to see is for alternate options to at least be capable of being much closer. Except for those players at the top end, it should provide those who are slightly more casual the opportunity to play their favorite classes without feeling like they are massively noncompetitive. If Bliz can achieve that with he next patch, I'll be happy, but given their track record, it is hard to believe they won't f!ck this up yet again.

They could start with nerfing even harder the ridiculous Meta. They can either add diminishing returns to paragon or remove them completely. They could add reputations, with unlockable dungeons, gear, transmog, pets, etc.....
Really, they could do a lot. See the box? Now look outside of it and around it once, a lot of potential!
Keep in mind that just because no major features are being introduced (that we know of), doesn't mean it's going to be bad. There are lots of items and sets being rebalanced/reworked, in addition to a brand new set of items.

Easier said than done good sir. Designing new features and talking about new features are day and night.
The meta is only ridiculous to people who want a thoughtless 3 dps, 1 support meta. Those people are the majority of the community obviously and we choose the meta, not blizzard. Just because the people who want to push, doesn't mean you have to copy what they do. Why do you do it if you don't like? And why is it that the people that complain about it don't even play the game? And if they do they just get rejected from groups because of their gear etc... you can't trick I carry public grifts for easy gem levels. I seen how a lot of the community plays. And that's fine but don't push your ideals on other people. lol
Diminishing returns to paragon? Why not make a cap? Wouldn't that be easier?
And tell me how are paragons a problem? They are a solution to a brick wall... what happens when you're all geared out? What's the end game? The progression? All geared out... perfectly... what do I do? I can't push anymore, i don't have added stats through paragons... gear is perfectly rolled. Guess I sit there staring at my monitor.
Dungeons exist... they're rifts. lol and then you have the set dungeons too.
Why do we need said things? A lot of the community contradicts themselves. WE don't know wtf we want. We don't understand what goes behind the thought processes of what a developer does. We know what we like when we experience it, and if we do well and make good progression we like the game. Issue is this type of game is not suited for new age kids on the block. All they care about is transmogs and other useless crap like pets and making things easier for they don't have to think about something or don't have to grind for it for like 3 months.
Sounds like we just want to add a lot of pointless BS to the game... like an mmorpg. It's not an mmorpg, it's a dungeon crawler. Honestly IDGAF about transmogs and cutesy little pets. I want a good game... AARPG. Period. That's why I play d3, and quite possibly the very vocal part of the community will ruin the game because of complaints... and hopefully blizzard doesn't cave like they have so many times in the past. They have made the game playable after the atrocious thing that was launch and hopefully they choose to continue to do so.
If they should add anything it's a higher level of difficulty throughout every phase of torment. Reimplement MP over the already existing TX. And mostly other QOL changes and if they choose to add new content that will be icing but I think a small percentile of people here and the disgusting officials forms just want to complain about something... for god sake's I seen people complain about progression orbs... I have never thought that was a hindrance at all. lol shows you the insanity.
Blizzard makes little money from d3... I mean obviously they still make revenue. I bought Overwatch origins and legion just for cosmetic wings and I'm sure others have done this... but aside from that... what money? They make things to please us and we just spit in their faces. lmao

All of this is just whiny nonsense of a person who is unwilling to admit that something sucks, and is afraid of change.

_ What diference: paragon level vs ulltra rare drop item (change drop)?
_ Answer (imo) - nothing, both will favor players with playing time...
_ Paragon, is better for me... Look other games, same in all: Farm item, level cap (99 or xxx), and nothing to offer to us... More dungeon? Level 99 and same item or with few difference, Builds (I agree with this B))
_ I agree with the lack of builds, items e adjust the value all classes. This decreases the diversity makes the most tedious game...
_ Do not forget, no matter the game, whenever you will have someone who plays hours per day, which will more level, better items, more competitive. If you want a game that does not have it, play a fighting dame, or games like HoS and Overwath, no matter the weather, everyone is "equal" (which sets is the skill player).
Let's just focus on discussing the new patch, instead of ranting how bad this game is. You know what to do when you think a game is shit.
What I wonder most is if buffing all the sets that are not DMO saves this game from having the same group meta every single rift. Will Wrath of the Wastes 4-piece make this set stronger than Raekor? Will Firebirds 800% increased elite burning damage be able to compete? Didn't they just "do something" like buffing sets with 20-33-50-100+% extra damage and see where this ends? I wonder what their vision is.
All I want to see is every class having a decent shot at being a main DPS or zDPS in every rift. I hope the devs share this thought.

That is why you need to play multiple classes. That is why the game simply need far more classes than we have.
You might ask me, what classes could we possibly have. And I will say, I am not the developer. Though, I will say that playing a class till you max it out and then playing another one has been the pinnacle of the ARPG HnS. That is the grind, that is the game. But will more classes, more things to do, more everything change all that? Asking it like that sounds ridiculous to me, because of course it will.
Diablo3 lacks in content. This is becoming a reoccurring theme in most Blizzard games since 2011. I'm sayig that content that IS there isn't triple A, because it is. The content we have is stellar. Show to a testament to the actual game, with so little content, that it even keeps players for as long as it does.
Yet, it could be far better and far more.
If you say we need more classes, then we would need more space for new chars, more stash for new class sets and items and so on. Btw, more classes would mean each primary stat need one more class or runt about Blizzard hating str/dex/int users would never end. Personally, I wouldn't mind seeing new classes in D3, but cant even think of what would those be, if not return of D2 classic, as Amazon, or Necromancer, or Druid.
About paragons. I don't think I would invest 10% of time I have already spent on D3 if no paragons were introduced. Those keep me going, knowing that with enough effort I can become epic over9000 barbzilla I always wanted to be lol.
I would like WW set to get some more boost than just triple rend action, as I don't see how would it keep up with MotE, IK or Raekor, with conclusion that IK/Raekor build will get even more op with IK 6 pieces damage boost. I don't mind using rend with WW, but this way it seems we are forced to use it with this set and to find space for lamentation as belt in our builds. That means witching hour will lose its place on barbs as PoC is mandatory for grifts (if anyone even play WW anymore lol) anyways.
Also, I'm kinda sad supp barbs were nerfed af. Mob rule lost its potential and HotA globe barb is RIP. I might be forced to play other classes more than I like to be able to get into high grift groups...

Season 6 barbarian solo sc EU grift 85 12m 23.199s MotE build
paragon would be fine if it continued to scale higher, than static values like we have now. For example, why since it was introduced do we only get say 50% crit damage? has never changed. Problem with paragon is that once you max all them out, its just stat stick basically, its boring and you do it cuz you pretty much have to, idk anyone who says i dont want that 5% crit or 50% crit damage I'll just put all into str, and ignore everything else?
But when you have all 4 pages maxed, which really doesn't take that long, even casually, i was able to reach 800 this season and my highest personal grift is 70 ish, with a few classes, those who are doing 80/85+ obviously are leveling way faster but still
Just an update for the paragon system would be ok for now until they can overhaul it, stretch it out some, give us say 100% crit damage, 10% crit, maybe even add attack speed in there somewhere, increase cooldown reduction to 20%...take some of those things we have to stack on our gear so we can focus more on drops and ancients than min/maxing or even gives different options, if i had another 10% of cdr (20% total) in paragon i could switch up gems in helm, i could roll something else on shoulders...free up some of the super stacks of 1 stat a little give some breathing room for customization or other stats that get ignored (area damage, leech, etc)
gold find is worthless as well, i mean not worthless but its always the last thing to max and it just increases gold found by a small %, only people who appreciate it are the ones who build +gold find sets and run vaults bragging about how many billions they have (gold is also a problem in this game...)
keep gold find but add magic find back or something, that would be far far better and use of points than gold find.
how about add some passives in there, 1 point each that say one is "increases the stat contribution of your equipped gems by 10%" or something like that..rather than jacking up a bunch of stats, add kinda a talent/skill passive thing that can choose more different and variety of things
Tldr; overhaul/update the paragon system...its about time!
I would like WW set to get some more boost than just triple rend action, as I don't see how would it keep up with MotE, IK or Raekor, with conclusion that IK/Raekor build will get even more op with IK 6 pieces damage boost. That means witching hour will lose its place on barbs as PoC is mandatory for grifts (if anyone even play WW anymore lol) anyways.
The biggest problem with using Rend is that it cancels your WW and leaves you more vulnerable to damage. If they could allow you to Rend through passive animation, then it would make sense to equip it. The other thing to consider is does using Rend worth it compared to a build using F/R and some generator attack (like Furious Charge)? I'm not sure that Rend does enough damage to compensate for all of the buffed damage that the tornadoes bring.

LOL I didn't rip your opinion first off and you just stated that I am not allowed to put my two cents in. This is a forum of discussion so I will continue to do so as you are.
You have not listed a single thing that will solve end game issues.
And why do you think the game needs to be built around gear and skills? And why do you think that the game lacks skills?
Progression is to move higher, to scale infinitely with some number? You cannot scale infinitely when the seasons are limited. At one point the season will end and a reset occurs so you start from scratch, correct?
Our only hope? I and many people will disagree with the statement entirely.
To me you seem to be the type of person that wants to state his opinions as facts and not bother to elaborate why these things are a problem, it's only a problem because you see them as a problem and some others see it as a problem. But we are lost to why these things are actual problems...
Why are paragons an issue? You still have not informed us of this.

Hey guys, today I go over some of the 2.4.1 datamined notes and give my (previously accurate) predictions on release dates for the PTR, the patch, and Season 6.
Based on previous history and some comments by Blizz, we can expect the following:
---
PTR this coming week, before March 12th
Season 5 ending Friday, April 15th
2.4.1 on Tuesday, April 19th
Season 6 on Friday, April 22nd (if something goes wrong worst case is Friday April 29th)

this season i had more fun than any season before. But who expected any big gameplay changes for the next season (when 1 season is 3 month)
is imo far away from reality ;D

I bought Overwatch origins and legion just for cosmetic wings and I'm sure others have done this... but aside from that... what money? They make things to please us and we just spit in their faces. lmao

*I just gave you things that would solve end game issues, if you would just stop blocking out what other people say and trying to put in your two cents and rip others opinions, maybe you would have read that though........ (Since you do not like reading, you are likely going to miss this as well) But the game needs to be built around GEAR AND SKILLS, not some random number that scales infinite. Infinite in terms of progression is simply stupid. *And do not give me the BS argument that it does not affect me, because it clearly does, that is your opinion, I have mine, and Paragon is a freaking joke.
All of this is just whiny nonsense of a person who is unwilling to admit that something sucks, and is afraid of change.
Nothing you said is factual, just opinion. Sorry man, but I am not buying any of the garbage, not when games on lower budgets are pumping out even more FREE content than D3 is.
Our only hope is that the difference is a very well thought out Xpansion that has many new features and removes the cancer that is paragon.
Hug for everyone!
I might be forced to play other classes more than I like to be able to get into high grift groups...

paragon would be fine if it continued to scale higher, than static values like we have now.
Everyone is so blind to the box, everyone is saying they would do this or that based on the box.
COME ON PEOPLE GET OUT OF THE DAMN BOX ALREADY LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!

And what other games have more content that are free? PoE? PoE does not offer more content and the builds for true end game are limited. I already made a post to this so I won't eloborate. http://www.diablofans.com/forums/diablo-iii-general-forums/diablo-iii-general-discussion/161238-illusion-of-diversity
And another thing... this is a datamine post. We aren't even on point...

Clearly because you took it there, I offered up some things I would like to see, and you took it a mile off topic because you absolutely needed to disagree.
