LOL go play MechQuest or something like that... Diablo is medieval and no gun types are allowed in sanctuary! Archers are ment to be the range attackers period!
Thanks for your contribution to the conversation. You are cool.
Starcraft is set in the future, it's all about technology
Warcraft is set in a medieval context, but you can find all sorts of technology made by gnomes, goblins and those Naarus things.
Diablo is set in a dark medieval context and is supposed to represent humans at their lowest so you would find that the most advanced technology is a sword and a set of armor.
Face it, the only technology you'll find that looks like guns are those fire potions.
Besides I have a feeling that there isn't much left of Harrogath, so Larzuk would never had the chance to actually invent one.
You said that it is highly unlikely, a lot of people said the same about Diablo 3 coming out.
Ah I understand now. Yeah but guns would practically rape the Diablo world. It's just not natural.
They have Starcraft with lots of tech, Warcraft with mid tech, and Diablo with no tech. I think they want it to be this way kind of, to appeal to everyone in some way.

Edit: Veltras beat me to it.
That's one way to look at it I suppose. Hell, maybe from all this talk they'll put a gun in that shoots fireworks in potions as an egg.
Looks like he's back to trolling posts.
This isn't WoW. Since when can you equip guitars or dual wield bananas in WoW?
And guitars and bananas come into play how exactly?
I'm sure there will be some easter eggs but...
It was just an example of something that could be content....
I think guns is one of the LEAST likely things to be in Diablo.
Uhh... What? We're talking about Diablo 3...

Isn't one of the crossbows already kind of like that...?
The Pus Spiter shoots poison.
It'd ruin D3 for me. Maybe if they build up to them some more in D3 I could accept them in D4.
