Most likely they will have a sorcerer / sorceress class included in diablo 3, but will it have teleport like in diablo 2? If teleport is in the game, the character owning the ability is going to be the first one i make, simply because i can get through any dungeon quicker to kill the bosses. The sorceress was the main MF farmer before the enigma runeword came out, it seems like blizzard wants to make this game more cooperative than before and giving one person the ability to get to the boss leaving everyone behind seems to ruin that concept. Just an idea what do you guys think?
Teleport was huge in rushing also. I personally loved being able to get around quick using it, but after giving it some thought i don't know if i want it included anymore for balance reasons between characters.
Get real, folks, the diablo you all knew is dead, a few years ago i said right here in this forum that D3 had a pretty good chance of being blizzard first bust (i was flamed to death ofc), and what you know, its not even beta and its already looking that way.
Zod was a very rare item.... eventually it will be found and duped to death, just like enigma(which was very rare, also). Hope blizzard has a strong anti-cheat policy on D3.
The reason there was so much duping in D2 was because of a mix of bad code in both Diablo 2 itself as well as in the Battle.net infrastructure. Though mainly it was D2's hardcode that was so exploitable if I understand right . D3 shouldn't be nearly as bad, as they're probably going to make sure it's locked down tight before release. It's also why I'm happy D3 is inhouse Blizzard and that Blizz North is gone. >_>
I think they might give tele to the sorc if their is one (im pretty sure their will be but maybe a name change) But they will most likely give it a high mana cost,short distance and a fairly long cd. Since from the 20 min vid their has to be a skill that every class has to get over broken bridges and I dont they all have the leap that the barb dose.
For every class needing an ability to get over broken bridges and such, we dont know if thats even true. That map could have been specifically created to show the demo which included that part, it might have been a barb specific quest, or the dungeon might have had an alternate route. Giving teleport a longer cooldown would solve some of the problem, not being able to spam it wont get you very far, but it is a good skill to get away from the middle of a swarm. The longer CD will also eliminate the rushing aspect tied to teleporting. I hope their isn't items that grant you other classes skills, like where in D2 enigma granted teleport, and that assasin armor granted whirlwind.
Teleport runs were lame, just teleport through the enemies until you reach the one guy you need to kill reroll and create a new game. For the first 5 games it's kind of fun, but it gets boring very quickly.
Yet I still hope that teleport will be in the game, though I think it should be nerfed a bit.
i really didnt like it, i hate rushing, and on runs i think itsmore fun to kill your way through to the bosses, i hope its not in D3, unles its like that spell from D1...phasing? where it sent you to a random area
