when i say puzzles i mean those step by step orderly operations while playing to get from point A to point B......or start at point 'A' go to 'C' then 'D' then to 'B' and the boss is at point 'B'
for example you enter a room and there are two switches on the ground and a locked door.......there are also two boxes, you must push the boxes on the two switches in order to open the door//////////the next room....there is a door at the other end and there are two platforms you must jump to that are engulfed in flames.....you must wait for the first flame to go out and time it right so you can jump to the next platform just before the flame starts up again on the 1st platform while the flame goes away on the second
the zelda ocarina of time or final fantasy type gameplay
I'm talking about these puzzles in boss rooms or quest areas
examples in diablo2: catacombs/durance of hate/talrashas tomb/worldstone keep/chaos sanctuary
but everywhere else is normal hack and slash aimless killing
i hated tal rashas crap...took me forever to find his damn tomb sometimes...
add not puzzles per say, but like dungeons with traps maybe, stuff like that
Agreed. The puzzles would become trivial after only one playthrough and would be an absolute bore for multiplayer. But yes, hit us with traps that actually hurt!
Im only talking about in the boss dungeons by the way
But I see where you guys are coming from, id like to see some more puzzle type stuff, even if its like harem levels where 2 corners are up a level and 2 opposite corners are down a level
Little things like that and like arcane sanctuary
I'd like to see at least a bit more puzzle type stuff for bosses, like if in diablo 2 there was a boss key somewhere in durance of hate level 2 or some switch to open a door
No one wants this game like zelda, but a few more puzzles would be nice imo
**EDIT**
UNLESS you want this game being just like d2 where you just farm all day, sounds fun
Then lets let one build overpower another and brag about how we are all so damn good with our d3 equivolent hammerdins
Sounds fun....
Some people think the amount of puzzles in d2 was just right, I beg to differ, but w/e

Answer is "no" or whatever the "Same as the previous games" equivalent is.
