1. My greatest fear is that it will be too easy (I know that the videos are made in this way on purpose).
2. That death won't be such "fun" as in D2 ;] I liked the idea that you certainly don't want to die as you will have problem later on ;]
3. That there will be too many conveniences made. Sometimes it's good to do some strenuous / monotonous job.
4. That there will be too many good loots.
5. That health orbs will be dropping too often and I will be able to heal the whole team by myself (if they are around and I get the globe) = point "1."
You guys (some of you) complain about stuff like : you got killed by one blow of some monster in D2 or that some monster was immune to all, but for me it was good as even you had a great character you could have been surprised while playing on hell. That's why it's called "hell" and no "kindergarten."
I hope that in D3 IF they don't like to have sth like I wrote above, at least we will still have some kind of things that will surprise us. I really don't like that game to be easy, even you are on 80 lvl.
Maybe it should be some area in the game where the monster grow stonger while our character grows stronger too? And if we are able to kill them, then we might get some really cool weapon.
Or there should be some special lvl, but I think i'm going to write a topic about that and get to know your opinions
My biggest fear has already come true, less player customization always makes for a less enjoyable game, ALWAYS, despite what blizzard may say about them allocating your stat points for you instead of you doing it yourself it's a BIG flaw. If I pick up a weapon and I'm lacking on strength to use it I want to be able to add to strength with my next few level-ups until I can wield it. I don't need a baby-sitter to make sure I spend stat points as they think I should. Hopefully Blizzard who have admittedly delivered top notch games every single time in the past will be able to do so this time as well, and with the crippling flaws of both limited (at least in stat point distribution) player customization and childish graphics they'll truly be the power house I pray they are if they still are able to turn this around into a great game and deliver to us what some of us have been waiting for years for. Diablo thus far, to my mind, are the best games ever made, it'd be a shame to flop now.

Just as long as Blizzard doesn't add cheesy recipes like DSII did, fricken Betty Crocker weapons, made me feel like I was playing with a virtual Mattel Easy Bake Oven. Oooh let's make weapons! We can frolic through the forest and look for ingredients, weeeeeeee!

Yeah, I hate it when you have to play the role of a smtih, except you aren't a smith, and you're just some crazy guy with a stick. DS2 reminded me so much of Blizzard games; the way they used the same HUD and acts.

I think the correct term for that would be patterns, not recipes. As such, I'd like to point out that having patterns for weapons is fairly realistic, as is the requirement to attain said materials.
And don't diss the Crocker. I bet she makes better weapons than you do.
Good point there, I forgot about it. From the most logical speculations that I have heard, I think they could make us pay but only for some extra services like taking care of cheaters and hackers or idk exactly what, so that way you can still play for free but with less service.
HACKS FTW!
Seriously, many will agree diablo 2 without a map hack can get repetitive and boring, especially when you know that many others around you are using map hack.
Why should we pay monthly to take care of cheaters, fuck that shit and start using cheats lol. Besides even if you don't want to cheat, we should not pay monthly for any services whatsoever, we should get countinous service with only one payment for the game.
The real reason i never played wow retail was because of the monthly fee, even though i agree that it's a descent game, i refuse to pay more than once for anything.

Working with adobe and/or java is like pushing a paper clip against a building and expecting it to move...
i really just wish they wouldnt show anything to us. because im getting more and more displeased with d3..... it looks really cool, but to be graphics mean about .0000005% of the game. its all about balance and super rare shit.

DIABLO = DEVIL its not supposed to be a nice game autostats are rediclous lack of pots is not welcome if it aint broke dont fix it! (diablo2)
I'm also pretty worried that they're going to lean towards the warcraft style.
The thing that really got me going was the massive shoulder plates... Dunno why but it just screamed "warcraft" at me.
I really wish that Blizzard would take some artistic advice from Blizzard North, even if they are gone.
I'm still going to buy the game tho, no matter how much they butcher the graphics:P
