Wirt and Gheed are the real bastards. They both made me cry when i was a newb.
As for the boss. I have no actual preferences but to see the lesser evils would be better. Repeating the old bosses would not be good.
and i know Blizz wont repeat them.

Azmodan I think. I definately like his name better than Belial (sorry Atrumentis :D) but I'm afraid they'll screw up the whole "Lord of Sins" thing and make him into some some gluttonous freak who only seeks lust. Not like that's ever been done before.

Well there was a metal gear solid game without solid snake.
Devolpers do stupid things with their games.
Well, it did include Big Boss, which is essentially the same since Snake is aclone of him, so who cares? Besides, the story was great

Azmodan and belial at the same time. It would be the first dual boss fight
And Diablo, Mephisto and Baal. And Andariel and Duriel on top of that. Can't get more epic (and hectic) than that
PlugY for Diablo II allows you to reset skills and stats, transfer items between characters in singleplayer, obtain all ladder runewords and do all Uberquests while offline. It is the only way to do all of the above. Please use it.
Supporting big shoulderpads and flashy armor since 2004.
Azmodan I think. I definately like his name better than Belial
ya belial sounds too much like baal.
but azmodan sounds like a mage or something, not a lesser evil

I would love lilith inarius thouhg but in the Sin War trilogy Inarius lilith and lucion die. Ill; go with azmodan and Belial. Belial out of the two though sience he seems most active.

You know what really bakes my noodle? Who was the extra boss planned for in the DII expansion that got canceled? Belial? Azmodan? Both? Or even Tyrael?
lol, I don't particularly support that theory, but it is a possibility we cannot deny.
Or was it Lilith, resurrecting the Three? But then they canceled that idea and turned it into a crappy patch? Yay? Nay? Nah, I don't think so. Resurrecting the three so cheaply for an expansion seems pretty crap.
What was it called again? Something about Sanctuary? I'd say it was gonna be Belial and/or Azmodan, who now found an easy way to get into Sanctuary now that the worldstone is no more. Or maybe it was the Angels, attempting to eradicate Sanctuary altogether? Or maybe it had something to do with Trag'Oul?
The ideas that they already had are what could have inspired Knaak to write The Sin War trilogy.
Then again, probably not. Birthright was published in 2006, while the 1.11 patch came in 2007 (I'm pretty sure). So I think Blizzard drew inspiration from Knaak, rather than Knaak from Blizzard.
Can I ask why everyone thinks Tyrael is corrupt and he should be the final boss in the next game or the main antagonist etc... That idea is entirely retarded...
It has to be Tyrael. I've a sneaking suspicion that his role in D2 and its expansion has been a cover-up for a much more sinister plot. I wouldn't be surprised if at the end of D3, Tyrael reveals his true self from behind that darkness and you have to slay him...
Maybe Deckard Cain is the true "angel" and Tyrael keeps following around to keep tabs on him?
Uber Tristram = 3 bosses at once!
Hell, I wonder where and how Uber Tristram fits in the storyline.

Thanks, I wanted to get it off my chest. Some of the ideas you guys bring up are just ridiculous.
Fuck you, I'm a dragon.
