I don't think they'll realease two back-to-back Diablo games (Diablo 3 + Diablo MMO). My mind is blank. I'm just hoping that Blizzard will lighten up my day.
they released warcraft III and WOW fairly close to each other.
so they same happening for the diablo series is not out of the question, but hopefully it doesnt happen

well this "next-gen MMO" might not necessarily be a diablo game. and as far as its release date, i think it will depend heavily upon when WoW starts to die out. which isnt going to be anytime before the next expansion comes out

Well you know Blizzard has several projects that are being created for the near future... they always do, but I think imo they will create some new universe some type of game other than warcraft starcraft or diablo, although they are deffinatley working on some sort of SC2 exp, maybe a WoW 2, maybe a World of Diablo and maybe a World of Starcraft are also in the making. These sort of gaming company's have to look far into the future and how they will create revenue to increase the size productivity and money (of course).

There would not be Diablo III, and a Diablo MMORPG back to back. It doesn't make sense because it will hurt Diablo III's longevity, also a Diablo MMORPG would conflict with WoW, as a Starcraft MMO would not.

Yeah, that's pretty much what I was saying. The SC fans are bigger than Diablo fans. People will debate over which Diablo game to get etc...

It's the decisions you make when you have no time to make them that define who you are.
Starcraft anything pretty much blows their socks off.

maybe sanctuary lies in the starcraft universe somewhere, the zerg, terran, or protoss stumble upon it and the the scene turns too a giant MMO jamboree yay! or maybe all three universes (warcraft starcraft and sanctuary) collide and chaos insues, but honestly i dont c any storyline blending in blizzards future. It would be interesting to see the terrans fight off some demons and zombies (zombies would probably get their asses stomped tho).
yea i wasnt thinking clearly yesterday, clouded thoughts from playing 2 much d2. and if u sighed after u projectile vomited it would sound more like a gargle *gagagagagaga
OMFG. I can't believe I never thought of all of Blizzards storylines and worlds merging. That would be epic, no joke. Good idea, Murderface.
They already kind of did it with WoW and SC in the Burning Crusade expansion. Draenai = protoss anyone? What with the big crystals with power hanging round and the space craft crashing.
Imagine this. The third installment in the Diablo series released. A year or two later an MMORPG dedicated to the series is released. Would it not be an interesting idea to have the ability to transfer characters from Diablo 3 onto the MMORPG?
Note: Hell, it would be nice if we could transfer our Lv99s from Diablo 2 onto Diablo 3, wouldn't it?
Well, it ofcouse depends what they do. If they keep some character classes are all, and add tuns, or keep almost all spells or all, but add a bunch, and add more levels, it could work.
Otherwise, of course not.

The Koreans are right into MMO's too. Lineage was by far the biggest MMO for it's time, and imagine a Starcraft MMO would blow their socks off.
Fuck you, I'm a dragon.

Before I read the rest of what you said, I thought you were serious.

Won't happen :-)
You're so ab-normal...

Skills (probably) wouldn't work the same.
People coming in late have such a major disadvantage.
I'm with Equinox.
Otherwise, of course not.

Do you think it will stay the same?
