you noobs. Lets make D3 soo dark that you can't even see, that will be nice.
So let me get this straight, People that have been playing the games for years, and are concerned that the graphics are out of touch with the other games, are noobs? Despite the fact they've played the other games? For years?
I'm going to go ahead and say that it's too early to start making petitions, since you know, we've only seen parts of two areas in the game. I mean what happens if that forest later on becomes black, burnt, and twisted with evil? What if blizzard plans on showing contrast between uncorrupted color and the foul darkness of evil.
I don't mind color in the game. I do see what your going for with the limited color pallets, and darker scenery, but I'm just no convinced that it needs to be that way. Since the game is 3D now and using a brand new lighting engine there could be extremely dark and menacing areas in the game the likes of which we have never seen before in any of the earlier games.

common sense goes a long way....
Common sense is that we want our Dark Diablo game not a fantasy land....on the other hand sounds a tad bit intresting.
You guys obviously can't get through your thick skulls that the game is not finished. Nothing you saw is final. It is simply showing off what the game will play like. I can't wait for Blizz to shut you guys up when the final build arrives. :D:thumbsup:
I laugh at you.

lol it can still easily be a ranger since who said you cant shoot arrows at melee distance xD

The Barbarian is from Arreat, a very cold snowy mountain top, but they are much tougher than normal humans, so they don't need warmth.

Where are Barbarians originally from? Sumeria, or more specifically Mesopotamia, AKA Europe. Think the Alps and the Pyrenees
the only thing I'm going to agree is with the one image at the bridge where there is a rainbow and the day is extremely sunny, that should be as the "how it should look like" with rain and thunder storms.
Other than that the graphics are good.

Diablo 3 is graphically and artistically great, there needs to be variety in the game, instead of only plain and dark areas!
+Wouldn't it be better and more interesting if from a sunny beautiful day, mist starts covering the screen, rain starts falling, thunders and lightning striking and it starts to darken, instead of constant dark!?
*JUST A REMINDER* They are going to keep the environment the way it is ,they said that in a developer panel about the artistic view for Diablo III so we need to show a petition to them.
The bigger monsters I think makes it more fun to kill lol. Honestly wouldn't you want to take down a huge beast and besides you are strong enough as it is they had to make the monsters have some kind of disadvantage. That monster in the gameplay wasn't a boss though it was a normal monster lol well a rare but normal monster.
I do agree with everyone who says, that diablo shouldn't be shiny and so.
BUT there is just another thing that drives me up the wall.
Have you seen the bosses? I mean lokk at their size! I think it just doesnt look beautiful at all. In my opinion it was fine having Mephisto, Diablo or Baal two or three times larger than our heroes but what the hell has a walking skyscraper to do in this game?
I do not know whether this has been mentioned the last 100 pages, but I simply couldn't believe that this isn't mentioned in the petiton.
The size of diablo/baal/mephisto had to do with the limitations of the game engine. They could only make the sprites so big.
Those big bosses I guess are a replacement for the bosses like "bishbosh" and what not. In which case : BIG upgrade.

yeap..i think myself at this...and i-m agree with you!! i really prefer a boss somth like a human possessed by a demon or somth like this .. and not GIANT style ...bigger doesnt mean MORE EVIL:D
Bah really starting to notice the character model's now. They really are clunky and what looks like directly ripped off of warcraft models. That Barb Girls foot looks like a tauren foot. Sure i find the coloring wrong but i don't think it is far from what we all want.
I had the same problem when D2 came out over D1. This works for anything in entertainment, when there is a good thing going it will be dumbed down, simplified and made more acceptable for a greater audience hence greater money. Its also a shame now that all the smaller more daring game companies have been shafted out by the bohemoth money making companies.
I hope that the dev's go fuckit lets make this sucker really dark and hellish but i doubt we will get the game that we have all been longing for.

Yes, thank you for stopping me sometimes I need a shout once in awhile.
