You posted here that Blizzard wanted a blizzard only event to announce the game so it will be 2008, then mention that we will get heaps more information later this year in another thread. Which is it?
And no, an enigmatic reply about both won't stick: either the game will be announced and information will flow or it won't and we will get dodgy rumours.
meh. idont get why you guys are still questioning him. all he has said has been rumors we have already heard. except the gay theif and knight, which arent that creative
Are you referring to myself? I apologize if I offend, but I have already said I do not know anything. All i contribute is rumors or already given information that has not yet been submitted. So please, do not attack me for doing this. I am only pointing out a fake.
It was actually intended for the fella who started the thread.
So NicoV has admitted to just spread bull, and this guy was saying NicoV's info was right, and that we should have continued to pursue that line of thought. More evidence that stacks quite readily against him
At any rate, if you're all convinced by now he's a fraud, I would stop dignifying his thread with more questions. Lest he sit back in his fancy computer chair stroking his cat saying, "Good. Good."
dude, blizzard doesnt want that information leaked, and they can easily trank him down and punish him for even starting to talk about it. if he was really an employee, he would have been shot at point blank range within ten minutes of his first post.
Blah! you are killing my fun.

- Everything you ever wanted to know about the lore of Diablo and never knew where to look (In construction).
Yet Starcraft 2, arguably a much bigger announcement - Nearly 10 million sales of Starcraft, vs the 3-5 million ish for Diablo 2, was announced at a competative gaming event, with a far smaller audience than Blizzcon, much less Leipzig.
Sc has sold 9 million copies, diablo has sold 17million, enough of the sc out selling diablo thing...

If you ever meet a hafling and a hungry dragon you dont have to outrun the dragon, you only have to outrun the hafling.

That 17 million number is Diablo, Diablo Hellfire, Diablo 2, and Diablo 2 Lors of Destruction. The sales of all 4 of them combined.
The 9 million number for Starcraft is Starcraft alone. Assuming most people bought Brood War (And I would be willing to bet a huge majority did), that's 18 million sales.
Edit: Also, apparently Starcraft has recently hit the 10 million mark.
that including the sc and diablo franchises... hellfire wasnt blizzard

you have to scroll down a bit half way down the page lol
i do remember reading a list with diablo ranking 2nd behind the sims in terms of sales, i belive d2 hit 9 million, equal to sc

That information is newer than what I was going off of, so I'll scede to that.
However, my point is still fairly valid - why would Blizz have to wait just for a blizz specific con, when they've announced a game that is at least as popular as Diablo at a gaming competition in Korea.

That box hasn't been updated for a while dude, I wouldn't be suprised if it's in 8-10 million sold range, at all.... I would be like... So?... Dude, why are you so suprised?... (I'm really not) Well you're too suprised..... (Actually I'm not even suprosed, I knew it) Well im less suprised then you....
