You've spoken of how there was a suprise announcement that was meant to be made at Blizzcon, but the trailer wasn't ready for it. You then go on to say there are no exclusively Blizzard cons.
Yet Starcraft 2, arguably a much bigger announcement - Nearly 10 million sales of Starcraft, vs the 3-5 million ish for Diablo 2, was announced at a competative gaming event, with a far smaller audience than Blizzcon, much less Leipzig.
You also say we'll hear much more news about Diablo 3 before the end of the year, yet no announcement without a Blizzard specific convention.
How are we going to hear more about Diablo 3 this year if it won't be announced at a non Blizzard specific con, of which there are no more this year?
- What are beta keys for and when can they be used?
- Who is NicoV?
- What will be some of the first bit of content revealed to us?
- Whats gonna separate Single to Online?
- What Bosses return? Diablo, Mephisto, baal?
- How big will the game be?
- Whats the level cap?
- What will make D3 differ D2?
- Why does Blizz invest to much into WoW when Diablo could make just as much?
Are you referring to myself? I apologize if I offend, but I have already said I do not know anything. All i contribute is rumors or already given information that has not yet been submitted. So please, do not attack me for doing this. I am only pointing out a fake.
i know who rumoreus really is, and he isnt a fake. and i know him enough to believe him if he says someone else is being a fake.
My secret identity can be found written on the inside of my underpants. Maybe we could get hold of Rumoreus'?
Anyhow if I had a dollar for every tool that comes along saying they were an employee I would be rich. Having said that it is not nice to call lying tools really bad names in the distant possibility that they are the real deal (yeah, and I'm winning the lottery tomorrow). Personally I can't believe that Blizz wouldn't bring back the Paladin - unless they changed it to knight.
Sorry for the way people here responded to your enlightenments about the new game until now Mirroc, they aren't very trusting of newcomers around here, especially newcomers who claim to work at Blizzard on Diablo III but can't say the name of the third character in it.
But that is still OK, because you also mentioned your work is closely related to Metzen meaning that your team is working on the storyline itself, or at least some aspects of it, and not on character development, this is why you were also able to supply so much information on who will we be seeing in the new game.
Now don't take this the wrong way, you're not in the clear yet, I still have my own question for you, one that might yet restore some dignity you have left.
Question: On what year according to the game time line does the new Diablo game takes place?
And might I remind you that the game does have a very clear and consistent time line which does state some very important dates such as that in -990 Izual attacks Hellforge and fails and that in 1100 the Horadrim led by Jered Cain capture Diablo in Khanduras and many others.
If you don't know the answer to this question then ask Metzen, since your team works so closely with Metzen then I can't think of any reason why it should be a problem for you to do just that.
And if you can't come up with a decent answer to my question then do us all a favor and stop posting on these forums from now on, you'll just embarrass yourself.

dude, blizzard doesnt want that information leaked, and they can easily trank him down and punish him for even starting to talk about it. if he was really an employee, he would have been shot at point blank range within ten minutes of his first post.

If there truly is no news at liepzig, they need someone to keep up the hype.
PLUS+ Wait till leipzig is over.
I don't care, Blizzard Entertainment shouldn't be defaced like this by complete morons.
