I've finished my Conquerer step of the Season Journey and got my stash tab after doing the Avarice and The Thrill Conquests, which are in my opinion, the easiest 2. I still want to finish the Guardian step of the season journey, though, and that means I need to do another Conquest.
I wanted to get some other folks' ideas on what the next easiest one might be. Right now I'm undecided between Years of War & Avaritia. Years of War would require rolling and gearing a new class (which WILL take longer than my current class since I've used my Haedrig's Gift for the season - which let me essentially start farming T6 out the gate after dinging 70) with 2-3 new sets. Avaritia is just Avarice in HC mode. The final step of the season journey already requires me to roll a HC character and level it to 70. I've burned through probably 15-20 Puzzle Rings in a week, and I did HC last season, so I feel like it's pretty feasible.
I had looked at Sprinter, which I could do with my existing class and gear if I spent enough time on it, but I'd need 2-3 other ppl to work on it with me, and I'm not sure I'd be able to do that. Speedrunning the campaign doesn't seem like as much fun as leveling another class for Years of War (not sure which one I'd go with - sader any good?) or grinding out HC at L70 for Avaritia.
I'm sure I'm not the only person thinking of which one to do third, so - what are you guys doing?
im doing first time this conquest and i dont know which is the easiest and do i have to do it solo or can be done in party ? i tried to reach the gold colecting but i was short, started also runing all acts under 1h, but i realized that i have to do in t10 and not any lower dificulty
Yeah, you might be able to pick 8 set dungeons that are easier than a GR55. But that means that you have at least, probably 3 classes geared up (because no two classes have 4 completely braindead set dungeons - see this thread for a complete list). By the time you acquired 8 sets (plus additional non-set gear) and are ready to attempt the set dungeons, chances are you have more than enough gear to complete a GR55 on 6 out of those 8 sets easily. There are very few exceptions - for example, you've been running T10 for ages with multiple different people who all threw entire class sets at you, and you haven't done a lot of GRs (resulting in low paragon and low gem ranks). If you're in that position, doing 8 set dungeons *might* be easier; though make sure to not pick frustrating dungeons like Jade or Wastes which will make you regret your choice ;-)
Sprinter is the most difficult conquest. It's possible solo, but probably only on DH and only if you get a perfect run (a lot of luck on the big maps like Blood Marsh, almost never running into a dead end). But even in a perfectly organized group I've yet to see anyone finish this with more than 5 minutes left. On the other hand, there are players who plan this contest, have insane movement speed and are perfectly prepared, and still fail this. Due to all the scripted events, the animations, and just the sheer amount of running and searching and killing you have to do, there's almost no leeway. Sprinter is not easy.
I have done The Thrill as always as first one. Regarding 50m gold streak I did not find it very easy and since I have Crusader as main and I have all items for another sets, complete GR55 with another sets was pretty easy on first try.
Then I rolled barb, transfer few of the items mostly rings and amulet and earthquake set was done also on the first try. I had small problems with HOTA build, but it took 2 hours of farming and then I have done it also. If you create second character with same primary attribute, you will use most of the items for start and then paragon helps a lot.

But, but I thought Sprinter would be easy cause my WD can kill all the bosses easy (cries now)!
I appreciate all the replies guys. It seems like Years of War is far and away the winner. It'd probably be a lot of fun for me too. I'm still intrigued by Sprinter, as I think I could find some other folks willing to pour 10-12 hours into practicing & perfecting it - which isn't much in the grand scheme of things. It's just that those 10-12 hours are kind of lost after that.
I see the appeal of hitting the leaderboards on Sprinter, but that time is done. Past that, it's more of just a curiosity. Years of War will get me into some new classes, sets, and playstyles. Somebody mentioned it, but it is very true that we're only 1.5 weeks into the season and my DH is already 2/6 on the Guardian step, so there really is a lot of time to work through this. I'll probably get back to Sprinter at the end of the season.
Now I just need to roll an ancient Yang's (big fan of UE) and GR70 should be a cinch. Back to speedfarming TX and levelling gems, I guess.
Avarice was pretty easy on Regular. I wasn't patient enough to wait for a gilded baron to spawn so I did the Ruins of Corvus method.
I had my friend prep the room with his crusader by opening al the doors and exploring the map so I could plan around dead ends, and with 9k gold find (emerald in helmet and 1-2 gold find items is all you really need) I hit 60m streak pretty easy.
now doing that on HC I think will be a pain. Not only do I have to level a 70 guy, but remember that guy will not have any paragon, or a jacked up friend who can farm blood shards for him.
in my opinion leveling a second regular toon to 70, and gearing Him to do 2-3 Class set GR 55's will be a lot easier than gearing a hardcore toon enough to do avarice, which includes leveling a boon of the hoarder in HC to level 30-50.
I am also more likely to keep playing my second regular tune in groups than I would be the HC guy I have to level. I plan on abandoning that guy the second I finish the Journey.
Would also have to echo Years of War. Mained a wizard, geared a DH - I levelled 3x lvl 60 gems for use on the DH (which means a minimum of 45 rifts, but probably closer to 50-60) and by the end of it, I had full UE set with 3x ancients, proper belt (had a witching hour laying around), decent bracers, a deadman's legacy etc... Then it was just a case of rolling a few bows to a yangs and I had a DH that could farm T10 to finish the other set(s) to get another 1-2 55's done. I probably spent about 17-20K blood shards in total by the time I had finished both marauder and UE sets, which aren't a ton when I get up to 5K per hour.
Just keep using your main to farm shards and roll gear untill it can comfortably start T10 - there's no point trying to gear a second char up through the tiers, will take you WAY longer. I ended up doing Years of war with firebirds, tal rasha, Delsere's MO on wizard, and Shadow's, Marauder and UE on my DH (shadows kinda sucked though, would not recommend :s).

So I just finished the L70 hardcore step of Guardian on a DH and got 2 Puzzle Rings in the process of leveling. Avaritia may happen at some point this season.
I wanted to do Master of the Universe but Wastes set dungeon is retarded then i realized: "I'm an idiot, i can easily gamble two sets for another class and faceroll my way for Years of War!" And that's what i did. Piece of cake.

I'm down for Sprinter, it seems the easiest with 4 good people playing.
Got a couple friends that want to do it pretty soon, feel free to add me.
Either Master of the Universe Years of War. I rolled a DH so the first four were easy for both. Invoker is an Easy 5th.
i'm going to try to do Avarice in Hard core mode but I know I could do the whole story in an hour solo!
Hands down: Years of War.

I think that three easiest conquests are :
50m gold streak
GR45 without set
55GR with 6 different sets.

So I just finished the L70 hardcore step of Guardian on a DH and got 2 Puzzle Rings in the process of leveling. Avaritia may happen at some point this season.
Years of War easily. Cleared GR 55 with 4 sets of my main WD and 2 of my alt Wiz.
The set dungeons are retarded.
