Why do other peoples pixels have any effect on you?
If there was trading, or a pvp scene that was getting dominated by botters being so for ahead that it ruins your experience I would understand. But hell, there could be one guy with full haxor gear having cleared GR6000 and it would literally have 0 effect on your experience.
You do undersand that their is a thing called "season" right ? And that this seasons have a leaderboard right ? And that this leaderboard is the whole reason to play for a lot of harcore nolifers right ?
Cheaters should be banned, period.
If you can't enjoy a game unless your pixels are higher than other peoples pixels then said game is probably not worth playing. I mean, every action you do is the same, every reward is the same so why does having a "your better than random person!" make any difference at all?
If your looking for a sense of accomplishment (if such a thing can be found in a game based around clicking demons and RNG) then just compare yourself to those you know aren't cheating and ignore the ones who are.
Just Because people has High Para Level does not mean they are Bots... when you gear up in Exp Gear and group up with friends doing high GRs your Para Level will go up fast also.
Its funny how blizzard let bragging about bots (for a some time at least) on official forums, but talking about how d3 is superior to WoW and in a good place actually resulted in a permaban for me, my post wasn't even reported
Which proves again about blizzards priorities..
You can talk shit about d3 all day every day, but don't you dare do that about WoW even not directly :DDD
That's so funny I can't stop thinking about it for now
there is thing called leader board and its competitive game. and botting doesnt affect one's game? go play something different casuals, lmao
Outside of the leaderboard which boils down to meaning jackshit besides claiming you're #1 how does it affect the game? Please I'll wait while you come up with a valid GOOD reason. There is no PVP, no actual arena setup that would matter, nothing you gain from being #1 that puts you above someone else. You're acting as if this is some esports type of game where being on the top leaderboard means a damn thing. Please by all means put you reached the first to 70 or top paragon in season 5 of diablo 3 on your resume.
Actually, people that play 10-15 hours a day with a 4 person group will completely decimate the botters in paragon levels. So, actually playing the game with other people beats botting. Honestly, if I actually cared enough I probably would bot because I, like many people, only have maybe 1-3 hours a day to play games and don't have a steady group that I can run 4 mans with to explode my paragon levels. I had some extra time last season and even playing most days only made it to 800 by the very end of the season and still didn't even have a full ancient set of gear. I know I won't ever rank, so I really don't care what other people do with their accounts.
The addition of the Rebirth feature makes it challenging for those outside of Blizzard to accurately sort out the number of hours per day a botter 'plays', but this is a number that would be trivial for Blizzard to obtain. It is my opinion that Blizzard (for whatever reason) does not care to deal wit the problem, because it would be easy for them to ban botters, who could be easily identified by looking at the number of hours they play per day...
You must be some special kind of stupid.
You are aware that you can check time played per season per class, right?
You must be some special kind of rude. The point was this data is trivial for Blizzard to collect -- if they wanted to do something about it, they would.
The secondary point was that there are characters with more hours played than possible so far this season (check Lucem the top wiz for example.)

this is TRUTH. if you want to beat botters get a good group of 4 and enjoy the xp, its not hard to hit 600 paragon in 3 to 4 days. also i dont think u have to play even 10 hours im at 685 and i play like 5 to 7 hours. great groups trump all.

move along folks..move along.
i dont know what fuck you do in this game mate, but if you play this game and not even try to push ranks at all, just get the fuck off this post plz. you are 100% irrelevant. Only reason you'd be here playing casual, care about this post would be you are botting. If that is case, quit game, get fucking real, and work more shits on ur resume.
Otherwise, are you just here to disrespect players who take this game more seriously than you do?
Every fucking person in this planet knows being best at a game is worthless as fuck. Tho there are people paying for those talents. People care, whether or not you do, or even other people who pay do.
Being casual about game is fine, but dont go around fucking disrespecting other players who take it serious, please.
Nice incoherent rambling. I've been here since 2012 who are you?
This season I've played 63 hours and I am 741 plvl. Never played in a group this season, only solo. So, yeah. 900 - is easy for the ppl that know what they do and grind the grifts in a 4-man groups.

I saw someone ask how this affects him if people are botting. Seasons are competitive, people play them to get on the leaderboard. Botters cheat in 2 ways. They farm paragon or they farm keys for grifts. You even see it in streams, a streamer will log off for the night and magically wake up with 400 keys. Asking how it affects someone who works for paragon and works for progression that botters cheat for it shows ignorance like no other. People need to stop looking at exploits, botting, cheating, etc. as something that doesn't affect them because it directly does so. Something that was fun in one season or a mob that gave good xp/rift progression in one season can be ruined by exploits. Half the damn game has had to be nerfed just because of cheatergon (gabynator)

Please don't tar all casual players with that brush. I'm 100% casual, will never push any leaderboard rank, and I care about this thread, because in my opinion, you get caught botting once, it should be a permaban for your entire battle.net account. Bye bye WoW characters, bye bye Hearthstone collection, bye bye everything.

This thread, what happened here, is EXACTLY why we internally debate whether or not to allow botting discussions. Not because we covertly support botting practices, but because of what happened here in this thread.
In the future, please avoid arguing with angry posters. Just report them and be cool about it.
