PlugY for Diablo II allows you to reset skills and stats, transfer items between characters in singleplayer, obtain all ladder runewords and do all Uberquests while offline. It is the only way to do all of the above. Please use it.
Supporting big shoulderpads and flashy armor since 2004.
well just think telling everyone about SCII was a part of their strategie, soon the game spores will come out, and this way they will keep almost all the rts players at their side. Also their biggest compeditor C&C just released their new game, so blizz is now trying to win back their rts market.
Diablo barely has any competition nowadays, ive found the game titan quest, which is quite kewl, and the gameplay is based on diablo II, but if there will be any news about DiaIII, this game will have no chance at all in competition.
SC2 began development before Spore and C&C 3 was announced, so it isn't developed because of that competition.

Even if Blizzard isn't working on Diablo 3. There is always HateGate and thats by the same team that did Diablo
Just though I'd point out a typo you made, it's spelled Hellgate, not Hategate

Diablo 3 is certainly in the making on some level. It may even just be in its early conceptual phase where they're doing concept art and rough storyboards. And it may even be on the spare time of folks like Metzen. Where they're just kind of toying around with ideas. At any rate, that's still having the game worked on.

I do hope they are further than that.

I bet they are at least to the point of working on the concepts officially, and not just a few guys doing drawings on their spare time while hangin' out at Starbucks.

I just don't see why they would be that early in development when they have had roughly 7 years to be working on it. I can't see Blizzard leaving Diablo in the dust like that for so long.

But what I'm talking about is what I believe to be a worst case scenario. Personally, I believe they are well into making the game. For a long time Blizzard games have done extremely well. Most fans of one particular Blizzard franchise enjoy all the others as well. They know it would be a hit. The audiences for these games seem rather built in by now.

Okay, I see what you are getting at. And I am part of that audience. I have all three franchises on my computer, excluding WoW. Blizzard is a great development company with a particularly awesome resume that continues to produce great product.

Hmm, if I ever get WoW. You and I can join forces, no?
Most certainly. You and I will kill foes who use unjust grammar and spelling. We will obliterate those who use horrible acronyms such as OMG, ROFL, LMAO, and BRBBIDYMITB.

And this acronym has actually caught on in the gaming community? Unreal.
From what I've seen of WoW, I dn't really care for the ways you can customize your character. Everyone of each respective race pretty much looks the same to me.

Yeah. I like uniqueness when I create my character. Maybe we can expect something like that when WoW2 roles around.

Too big? did you ever play Elite? (it needs to be big)
Ive read up on Spore some time ago and i really like the innovation in it, and it will be perfectly possible to play in a humongous (different) universe each time you start anew (I think its gonna be very addictive)
Ofcourse Spore is really not a rts in the classical sense like Starcraft is, i see it more as a creative godgame, and its been too long since i played a good one.
Not in terms of size. In terms of what it is trying to do. It's going to be very simple and primitive, IMHO.
And I didn't like X3. It's just plain boring. What the heck do you do all day?

I beg to differ. Blizzard will take over the f$@%ing Universe and everyone's mother will sacrifice themselves to their awesome power.
Yup.
- Both games were denied in the making
- Both games were said to be revisited

I do agree with you though, Spore over Starcraft 2 any day of the week for me.

Yeah, same for me. But in case you didn't know, BRBBIDYMITB means be right back because I'm doind your mom in the butt.
