I would like to see more detailed characters. The more detailed the characters, the better I like them. I'd also like to see a much larger arena. Better, more reliable cube recipies too.
I've never really relied on cube recepies other then making better gems or runes

like you go to the smith and he works on something, that still goes by a recepy, and he makes it? ive seen that used in some other games, and its a pretty sweet idea. Or are you thinking about bring other items not going by an actual recepy at all and make a item? that would be cool to

-Keep The locked above view only with updated GFX in 3D.
-Keep Acts in the game with very few quests. (not a bunch of random stupid quests).
-Keep Monster grinding and boss runs for exp and gear. Do not make leveling slow like the common MMORPG.
-Keep The separate small games. No giant server with everyone in it like an MMO.
-Keep Fast paced game play.
-Keep D2 Attribute system.
-Keep D2 style skills. Do not add tons of skills like WoW keep things simple and focus on game paly and player skill.
-Keep Large variety of items. (Do not turn everything into sets like WoW) Doing this results in everyone using the same gear.
-Keep FFA loot. (snooze you lose)
-Keep Game lobby with channels.
-Keep Items system the same as D2! Do not add stupid Bind on Equip system like WoW. Everything should be traded.
-Add Clan system not Guilds.
-Add New trade system similar to an AH, That you have access to via game lobby.
-Add Clan stash.
-Add Super stash linked to all your characters.
-Add Simple UI that is crisp, clean and easy on the eyes.
-Add a PvP Ladder system. (Possible PvP Teams). DO NOT GIVE REWARDS FOR PvP AND DO NOT ADD PvP SPECIFIC GEAR.
-Add Anti-Hack system and have good IN-Game Support system. (GM System).
Basically try to keep the game similar to the orignal. Just add updated graphics and new features. Obviously a new story line but please don't turn it into a common MMO. LAST BUT NOT LEAST DO NO SCREW THE PvP UP!
I think Diablo would be more like WoW if it became a MMO. I dunno how I would feel It there was the possibility of have like 60 people in one game...:confused:

Exactly, there is no relation there. WC3 was an RTS and it became a MMO. It doesn't matter what genre a game is, it will not necessarily turn into a MMO. If Blizzard won't overexcite itself into the multiplayer direction again, it doesn't need to be a MMO...

I dunno... I didn't discuss anything. Diablo and WoW were both created by Blizzard the last time I checked. (correct me if im wrong I get confused real easy lmao). As far as im concerned the cash is all going to the same spot.

The money from both goes to the same place, but the above statement clearly shows WOW generates more coinage. Thus is very relevant. Diablo can only generate money through sales. WOW will continue to draw in revenue, it could have half the sale LOD does but due to fees it will make more money.
This will affect the decision of what to make Diablo 3. If it is like LOD then for 1 million copies sold that is $100 (NZ) multipled by 1 million users = $100 million. Now a pay to play MMO would be $100 x 1 million users + $50 for fees x the million users so that = $150 million dollars. And that is just the first 2 months. Fees are $50 for 2 months here, so for every consecutive 2 months that is another $50 million dollars. LOD only has game sales. The same would apply in either case for D3 during it's first month or so.

Great barbed hooks were then used to stretch out the once glowing skin and his features were distorted by vile powers. Many of the followers of Inarius were given as gifts to Baal and Diablo, but the rest were molded to match the bloated image of the now crippled angel. To this day, Inarius is said to be trapped in Hell within a chamber of mirrors, his eyelids torn from his face as he is forced to gaze upon his misshapen form for all eternity. His misguided followers now serve as Hell's taskmaster taking the anguish of their lost glory out upon the bodies of others.

I don't see alot of those things happening other then the change of his "wings". I finished readings The Sin War series and I do know that Inarius went mad but I don't think that all that would happen to him. He would most likely become an agent of Mephisto most likely second in command. After Mephisto dies, I would see Inarius leading the hell spawn. other then that I would believe that his appearance would change to a more demon like Angel. Instead of saying that its Tyrael on the cover as in the other thread we could say that its Inarius.
