I agree, sometimes its better to go back because there is still alot of story line before Tristram. That way they can have more time to do a better D4 (always a hopeful). The only storyline after the destruction of the world stone is that of The moon of the spider. Unless there is something withing those other books that involve something after the worldstone

I would really like to see more customizability in the begining with face and hairstyle and things of that nature. I dont mean anything goes, as I would find it quite odd to find a Necrohe who looked like a beach bum, but you get the idea.
You can customise your look in World of Warcraft, Neverwinter Nights, Baldur's Gate, Icewind Dale, Age of Conanan Might and Magic I - what are they up to now IX? X? XI?. Point is those games have more in common with Diablo than the Sims and they have customisation of character, size, height, body type, facial hair, scars, tattoos.

-Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is alchemy's First Law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only, truth.
Your pladin wearing rattlecage looks the same as my paladin wearing rattlecage. I want to be me, not you, or that other paladin wearing the exact same stuff as me.
I am me, you are you. We are totally different people in looks. It's repeative if everyone looks the same.

They actually did customization in Fallout 2. you could actually change hair colour and clothes colour and even skin colour because it dealt with people being mutants and what not. I'd like maximum customization in D3

actualy not in fallout 2 but fallout tactics but for sure i want one thing in d3 class equip i mean robes for mages armours for wariors and some other stuff
Fallout: Tactics, Fallout 2 same deal. For the armour are you trying to say that when you go to buy armour there should be specific sections for each type of armour? or just in general like say you find a robe you automatically think "oh, thats a mages robe"? Because i do remember that they have robes in D1. I also thought that the rags armour was pretty funny to

Sorry for the double post but you know how in Fable the story line is decided by how good and how evil you are? Some people wanted factions or being able to choose a side. So why not be able to play the game and depending on what you do you would either be approached by heaven or hell. Or you can do it GTA style and go to specfic points and do missions that would pit you againts one side or the other and you would gain loyalty for the side that you do the most for.

by armour i mean that specific class will have specific class of armour and fall2 and fall tactics are 2 very different things cuz tactics is almost a strategy and fall is totaly rpg game and about factions that might be very good or total disaster why cuz with factions we need 3 times more quests monsters and everything else
Yeah, thats what I meant or was trying to say in the last post, by either finding it saying "amazon only" or by buying it in the "amazon" section. the fallout deal has some of the types of things that I like and would like to see in D3. For example, customization like skin colour. That game was also a weight based carrying system which i find a little hecktick and would rather has a system of slots. Factions aren't such a bad idea because from what I said about Fable. Seeing how the game progresses by your actions please the people who want the realistic touch while keeping the Diablo atmosphere. because lets face it, it just makes sense that if you kill more angels and people from sanctuary you're gonna most likely have the favour of hell.
Also, having more quests and monsters doesn't take anything away from the game but rather adds to the complexity. I think it would be fun if the story line invloved more things to do rather then keeping it simple and dull.

yes its make but about weigh based equip nah that was te charm of diablo how to fitt those shit in there we even called that diablo syndrome
ugggh that was probably the worst things i had to deal with in D2. Other then trying to deal with the resistance bull crap that happened everytime you went into either nightmare or hell mode.

TRUE TERROR
I would love Diablo 3 game to Scare the S*** out of me, playing the game, you know.
Monsters gotta look scary as Hell, moaning & howling, evil laugh & everything, plus a background music that's creepy like that cave level in Diablo, just you can't play it with lights off.
It's also pretty good idea IMO to hear Diablo Roaring all the time, as you get closer & closer the Roar gets Louder. But like in Level 1, you just hear a faint Roar.
If Diablo speaks, maybe have him speak from time to time, of course, in it's Scary voice.
Maybe have the trees or rocks shape like devils, also.
Just SCARE the hell out of me!!!

This....sorta. Id love to see the feel and overall mood of diablo 1 revisited in diablo 3 thats one thing ill never forget about that game.
One thing that would be really cool to have in d3 would be bosses that are far more complex then those in d2. While those bosses were really cool id love to see them require more then just blasting the hell out of them with massive damage skills. Possibly something similar to how WoW bosses are taken down but without the reliance of other people to do it, and maybe they could increase in complexity with the number of people in the game fightning the boss. Might be a dumb idea for a hack and slash type game but I think it might be cool :P...also this is all assuming d3 follows a similar game structure as d2.
What about things like Pauldons and ? I think it would be interesting and allow for more set synergy via more pieces, but it might be more of a pain to collect also. What do you guys think? Also i think that basic ,IE non magical, equipment could slightly warp to reflect your alignment at later levels. You could have armor become more jagged and tarnished looking if you were aligned with the forces of Hell, of it would become Pristine and Shining if you were a heavenly agent.
Im not sure if anyone already said this, but i think that alternate endings for the normal, nightmare, and hell would be cool with the normal ending being cannon and nightmare and hell being "what if?"s
I would like to go into adrias hut. The reason being that Pepin says he believes it is "much more than the hovel it appears to be" What secrets reside in that Magic Wielders shack? I hope to find out:)
