That's a good idea expect that I really don't think giant blue tortoises and robotic dinosuars would fix into the diablo concept, but that was a really good idea I just wish that everybody could have your creativeness.
I dont want them to have normal, nightmare, and hell. Its get boring having the same act over and over again. If they do have it they should add more acts to nightmare and hell. Thatd be awesome.
Fissure is considered fire in that one. If you haven't noticed the firey pits that seem to burn in the holes when fissure is cast. Not to mention fissure is between skills called "Molten Boulder" and "Volcano".
yeah they deal fire damage but they still involve the earth... fissure is a crack in the earth and volcano is sticking right up out of the earth, pretty much the same feel in my opinion. not to mention that in bear form druids can already make earthquakes. i'm not saying that your spells are already in the game, i'm just saying it wouldn't really be an introduction to "earth" spells... sorry for the confusion
in fable u can get drunk and own shops like houses pubs and whore houses
if that was in the game it would be tight
i always hated the fact that one class could use a move from another class like how everybody had teleport pissed me off it got annoying to fight

They don't make normal, NM and Hell for that reason, they just take the original story (5) acts, and add nm and hell... it makes the game seem bigger.
Thats what sucks. If they make d3 it shoudl be one HUMOUNGOUS GAME! It should be hard and almost impossible to beat. I would pay tripple for a game like that.

I want an Auction House (like from wow) somewhere - Even if its in a Channel for the 20 or so people (probably more since 20 was for old bnet maybe its like 50 for b.net2.0) where they can put items for sale and sell it for gold or something... gold was so useless in Diablo for that one reason, hard to sell stuff. Maybe you can make the buyout prices able to be bought out by gems also, that would be cool. Oh well, we'll see :-)
Oh man! I think I just may have come up with something that Diablo 3 should feature that no one else has thought of yet. I'm not willing to go searching right now through the thread to see if it's been suggested, so if it has, someone just tell me later, but I think think may be new.
It occurred to me as I was describing my latest character build and I realized how difficult it can be to lay out in detail how one might build a character with all their stat points, skill points, and items. So I thought, how cool would it be if at any time in your character developement, you could hit a hotkey that saved all of your character's information into one text file. And you could have it all be either abbreviated with all the little Diablo build notations and appreviation, or have it all spelled out manually. This way, when someone wanted to know the details of a build, we could just hit the key, then just like a screen shot, it would automatically save all the build information, items, and even inventory into one long list. It would specify what damage you are currently dealing, what your combined resistance is, all the different stats of all your gear, everything.
I just think that would be horribly convenient and would also allow players to more quickly assess the types of builds they would like to make. And people would be able to post this stat information easily onto forums so other players can make comparisons.
I know as it stands you can make screenshots of your character's gear and stats, but never before have you been able to capture all information on a character in one single file short of doing a lot of copying and pasting.
i had an idea that when you are searching for games. instead of having a list of games to choose you could have some kind of game search engine. so lets say you want to find a soj 4 hrs. and instead of looking through the sometimes long list of games. possibly missing the one game that is selling soj. you could just click the search game button. type soj. and wapa. you see the game you really need most.

The number of pads, notebooks, ringbinders I've filled with notes on exactly that. I haven't done it for WOW yet, because I'm not that far in yet.
But I've done it countless times for LOD, what skills I will get at what level.
While doing these notes I worked out the Stat and skill equations.
STATS
5(n-1)+x
N is your level
X is either 0, 5, 10 or 15 (The +5 stat book)
SKILLS
(n-1)+x
N is your level
X is either 0, 4, 8 or 12 (Den of Evil, Book of Skill, reward for killing Izual)
When I made the equations I always did all of these quests every difficulty.

-Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is alchemy's First Law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only, truth.

uhg i would think this would be a good idea... but i have played WoW and was not impressed with their LFG interface.
just thought of an idea that has already been said probably. but anyways.
what about different quest playability for different class.
ex. your a paladin having to search for something in a general area. the paladin gets stopped by this person. the person says. "oh your a faithfull paladin to the zakarum church you may enter this area to fight the demons that control it." you go through.
ex. your a necromancer doing the same thing as the paladin. except instead when you meet the person he says. "ugh, evil necromancers, i despise your kind and will not let you pass to help the evil from hell." so in order to enter area you would have to fight that person.
Siaynoq and encro, great ideas. Especially with the game search engine... I *hate* finding certain runs, I just have crummy luck when it comes to finding a specefic type of game.
For my own idea, I do not know if it has been mentioned already or not, but for spell casters, it would be GREAT if you could combine elements. LIke use a mix of fire and lightning together. Ohh, now that would be sexy, fire + lightning... what should we call it... frightening?

i thought it was a cool idea atm.
That is a good idea. But maybe if it was more specialized.
I do believe we will see each class's homeland, and it would be perfect if you get to your character's homeland and have one quest that only that character can do in that act.
Ex: Necromancer/The town would be underground where the necros live, and you would go up to the swampy, marshy jungles to fight. So once you get to the act, some head council member of the Necromancers comes up to you and recognizes you and your commitment to vanquishing evil. He gives you a quest to cleanse a certain tomb of one of the elder necros, and in doing so he will recognize you as a higher rank of Necro, oh and not to mention the skill Bone Dragon becomes unlocked, but you have to be lvl 35 to use it or put points in it.
Now do something like that for each class, with the award being a skill that is only unlocked in that act.
Although for that to work, I think that you would have to be able to choose the order that you are going to do each act.
What I really like was from Diablo Classic, without the expension, the randomization of item's stats. Rare items were the best and strongest and rarely the same as other players. So since it'll surely be in 3D I expect to have a large variety of esthetic equipments.
1)Blastoise:he is a water thing and his main attack is hydro pump
2)charazard:a very strong char and hes only weakness is water
3)metal greymon:this guy is one tuff guy he will kill you in 1 hit:rolleyes:
