Ithink that elfen lied has said it ALL!!!!!!!Well there is one more think that I would like to add.......is that I feel that players in diablo 3 should be able to travel from island to island.....and it should have a VAST amount of places and islands to explore.Of course it would be SUPER DUPER cool if each diferent character would have their own unique skill for example:A necromancer can collect souls to heal itself,a warrior would have a RAGE METER and when that meter is full, the warrior will become extra strong and deal more damage,a druid(or runemaster) could make weapons have sockets and he could create his own runes by collecting certain materials for example:Harpies wing, demons head, fallen's sword and etc.............and a rouge could be able to be invinsible for a certain amount of time.It would also be great if each different character had their own special quest.......:)
interesting but then it would be unfair to some pvp chars

Hey, building on the unique skills thing, I would like every individual character to have a random unique skill! Like, you could have 10 necros, each with their own unique skill, as well as having all the learnable skill trees as usual.
Or maybe not random, maybe you can choose it. Cause people would just keep creating and deleting characters until they get their desired skill anyway.
The superunique skill could be generated from a list of certain skills per class. Maybe some classes have similar superunique skills available, like, Heal, or something. I suppose it would kind of end up being like a profession, or a talent point from WoW - but I did NOT have that in mind when I thought of it. I was just thinking of a way to have uniquely skilled characters, even amongst the same classes.

Not necessarrily. 3rd time: I want a trader to come to town once in a while, who offers special trades.
that would be cool.
so he would be a guy that sells uniques for very high prices pretty much right?

-elemental attacks hurt all players on contact(even team mates)

-players get a visible scar everytime they get killed.
-wicked, super rare items that have advantages such as tentacles that attack enemys when you wear tyreals armor.

it would be cool if you could wear like a special angels armor(if there will be more angels in diablo 3) maybe a set items and when you have all of them(which would be all your items) you could look like an angel and have the tendrils and stuff but the draw back would be you could only use angel skills and not your normal attack skills. also could be used as looking like a demon.

He also uses attacks like Heavenly Fire and Fist of Heavens (old paladin attack from Diablo 2), and Rock Gaze (damages them by immobilizing them).
Naturist-Like a druid from Diablo 2, this guy uses elemental skills to attack enemies. The attacks include Twister (takes off defense for a couple seconds), Parasites (poison attack and, in dueling, let's you see their gear and inventory), and Vine Trap (like bone prison except with vines).
Stalker-A woman who was raised in the jungle and has to use stalking and hunting skills to hunt prey and intruders. Attacks include Disappear (go invisible for a second or two), Lunge (lunge with spear to make attacks stronger), Blind (makes enemies not see for a few seconds), Spear Stab (a very strong and quick attack that stabs enemies in the head), Crawl (go by groups of enemies very fast and very quielty so they don't see you), and Slash (slashes with claws repeatedly and very fast).

anyone about this mystical bow that has been lost for
centries for her whole life. Only by finding the demon

What I would like to see in DiabloIII would be more additions to different types of spells. An introduction to earth based techniques, such as causing earth quakes, or creating large walls of dirt/mud that can take a crap load of damage, but aren't very wide. The only two earth-like spells I can think of from the first two games are Stone Curse and Clay Golem.
Another type of spells are nature-based. Not animal summoning or wind-like spells. But rather wood spells, leaf spells or something. Kind of like the vine, and as someone had previously mentioned, a technique like a Vine Bind, which would follow the idea of a stone curse.
The last type of spells that would be cool to see would be more along weapon manipulation. Something like double throw, but rather it being two separate tosses, you use mana to create more of the weapon, like clones, and you throw like 10 at a time (level variant though) and only using up one of the actual item. I know this is starting to dwell on the idea used in the Anime called 'Naruto', but items like scrolls to contain more weapons (Kind of like the Horadric Cube), but can be used as a weapon. For example, you lay down a scroll on the ground as a trap that contains 10 of a certain kind of weapon, and when a monster comes near the trap goes off and the weapons fire in all directions hurting all enemies. Also, to follow the aerial techniques (Blizzard, Meteor and Thunderstorm), you could have one like this but of weapons. It would take up a lot of mana, but you could have a large amount of weapons falling from the sky and striking all enemies within a certain radius.

druids can summon vines, make fissures in the earth and lots more so spells like the ones you described wouldn't really be an introduction.
one thing i hope for so much is that when the game comes out, clans aren't called guilds. diablo was the first game i ever played online and when i was asked to join a "clan", i was like woah thats tight. but on other games they are called guilds clan sounds so much more medieval and hardcore in my opinion.
Fissure is considered fire in that one. If you haven't noticed the firey pits that seem to burn in the holes when fissure is cast. Not to mention fissure is between skills called "Molten Boulder" and "Volcano".

Anyway, guilds sound like weak things, we should definatly go with clans...

I drew it. It was originally gonna be Azmodan, but he's too plain to be a Great Evil. So now he's just some minion of Azmodan, I suppose. Or.. I dunno, maybe he could be Azmodan? I imagined Azzo to have wings though.
*From the point of view of Diablo players, lol*

Zubin: Your ditto effect?

Yeah, my first guild was a clan

Anyway, guilds sound like weak things, we should definatly go with clans...
