I thinks blizzard should be a little bit more detailed in their gameplay for D3. Sometimes i laugh at this issue because ever since i played Diablo I long ago, i notice their are drops by monsters that are just rediculas. Yesterday, i killed a fallen that dropped a Gothic Plate. I am sitting there thinking to myself, how can that little guy carry that thing when I need to have str over 70? On this topic too, D3 should incorporate drops from monsters on what they actually posses. Seeing a Doom Knight with a mean looking sword and when you kill him, he gives you a maul. Please put your input on this subject.

well the game is randomized, but i get you meaning.
more suitable item drops from monsters and bosses., hmm i wonder if thats in the master list, if not ill add it.

-Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is alchemy's First Law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only, truth.
What like scales off monsters to create a mesh armor, that is starting to sound like Dragon Hunter off of gameboy sp. Where you slay dragons and use their teeth to make a saw type sword and all that . . .

Yhea I agree. Whats a razor spine doing with a yew wand anyway? Or 1 gold. It looks and sounds like two or more but you get 1 gold. I also think they should do away with the damaged stuff. To D&D. Diablo has already made it's mark.
Baldur's gate also have that feature, killing dragons to get their scales to make suits of armor.
i thinksomething similar could happen in d3. but not to the same extent, and not for the obvious reason, that there are no dragons in diablo

Another suggestion is maybe instead on monsters dropping everything when you kill them, make it so you have to search each and every body. That will bring out more realism to the game.

I agree too, if a person should kill a little monster they should drop lower stuff, but if killing a bigger guy that looks like he should actually be holding that kind of item, should actually drop a more realistic item for the size of the monster.
that's like Titan Quest, when you see a minotaur with a cool looking maul and kill him, he'll drop that maul, for example. that feature would be cool in d3, but i can tolerate the random drops.

What about smithing should they add smithing and minig to d3 or would that ruin the game. Lol i know that i said runescape suck but that like tohe best to things there is smithing and mining. imagine say u kill another armoring boss then would it be kewl if he dropped his hammer and then u got to use it to imbue what ever u want and allow u to chose what specs it will recieve. they could even make unique smithin hammers as part of the game play like kill diablo or any moster and get a hammer that adds some kind of elemetal dam based on the moster's or bosses skills u got it from. what im saying is imagine have ds wake of inferno wich ya i know later diffs he cant kill u with it but that would be awsome to use on cows.
I am probably the only one opposed to this, but I like the complete uncertanity that you get. If drops were to be logical, then if I played as a Sorceress and met some minotaurs, I would instrantly consider it worthless to beat them, while if they can drop everything you are always on edge, and that's a big contributing factor to Diablo's success.
EDIT: An example is Oblivion. The monsters ALWAYS drop the same things. If it has a sword, it drops a sword, and it is so boring!
PlugY for Diablo II allows you to reset skills and stats, transfer items between characters in singleplayer, obtain all ladder runewords and do all Uberquests while offline. It is the only way to do all of the above. Please use it.
Supporting big shoulderpads and flashy armor since 2004.
it was planned but never implemented for Diablo 2 to gather body parts to create potions and such. I dont think such a system would work on Diablo tbh. Its completely randomized and the possibility of anything of a certain lvl to drop any item makes it even more interesting to kill all mosnters in the area. I personally dont think that aimed mfing would work well in D3. How many times havent i killed mephisto looking for a Stormshield and jumped around in happiness when i noticed he dropped a Mara's? I wouldnt trade that feeling for anything.
tradeskills would also make the game way more complicated than it should be. As we're used, the Diablo series is all about fast hack & slash, not crafting professions.
Random = way better. Think about it, some monsters everyone would want to kill, while others nobody would even bother with. If any monster can drop any type of item, then people will be more likely to party up.
Also, I love not knowing what I will get, that's half the fun...
