well the repetitve stuff was like any other game cept it was harder just like in the game god of war u can pick easy spartan or god there all the same but harder as u get further so i think that what diablo was doing
O.K. by popular vote vampires are exhiled as heros but what about samaris
you no what would be cool if you could build a fortress in the game and you would have your friends defend/build it ...you chill'n while some huge clan comes to attack it and you have all your archers fire at em.
like after you beat the game you can build your own town/castle/fortress and host mini games or like be part of the game by selling items with bots n stuff
"man i need a sword".... "i no lets go to marshals(my name not that lame store...) they have blades 20% off"
I don't care about characters... all I know is, I want to see Tyrael up close in 3d $$

i hope if ur on the good side(Heaven) that when u do something really good like beat a certain person u get the wings like tyrael and they help u somehow
Okay, KnightmareX mentioned the three prime evils. Now, what happends when you killed them all? This is an argument against the Diablo 3 creation that has been going on for years. All three prime evils are dead. That would leave you saving the world and that is it. It's over. Done.
However, he also mentioned that they were weak when they weren't in Hell. Well, since the soulstone is dead, smashed, shattered, whatever, Diablo would have been sent to hell. With the other Prime Evils. NOW, if they were all together, wouldn't they have their full powers? That would mean, if they all went together, they could easily break out of hell. That brings us back to the Heaven vs. Hell. If they broke out of Hell, Heaven would have to come down to save the world.
The angels and demons would not have restrictions as the world stone and soulstones are gone. Their powers would be infinate. So a energetic battle between Heaven and Hell. Any way that you look at it would bring you to the Heaven vs. Hell idea. There's is no dought that that is the story line. But between the corruption of Tyrael, and All "Hell breaking loose", those are the two possible senerios.
ya thats the plot that this dude at gaming steve.com wrote, he said that he had friends in blizzard and that the story like was indeed heaven vs. hell ive given this link in 2 other threads but the more i show it the more people will know what this game is going to be about, and it says that it has been underway for a few years, and they finished it but it was hella boring so they are redoing it to make it uber fun
i wasnt playen about the spawn char but w/e >< so when ur good in end u look like tyreal or when your bad you turn into izual ?????
how about this each char class has his/her own arch angel... and the more devine they get (as they beat the game) the more they look like their angel i heard people wanted diversity well there you go each char class different angel cuase id hate to fight sum 1 who is full angel and make the mistake that it turns out 2 be a zon then a mele char ><
kinda like if you live in athens you look like athena and people in sparta take image after ares
I see people getting the ideas of including orcs, elves etc. in Diablo 3. The whole game is just Humans, Demons, and Angels. So far, both games had no hint of elves or orcs, so I don't see much of a reason to put them in there now (even though Warcraft 3 introduced Night Elves, but that world already had the Orc and Human style going on.) About the Heaven v.s. Hell part, this makes perfect sense. Also, since Humans are in the middle, this makes a perfect dual-campaign thing. In all three Diablo games, you'll play as a human, and in the third, you'll choose who you will swear your alligance to. Each class will still have their own skills, but they will have different variants of their classes (because using a paladin while being evil just doesn't make sense.)
Now that Blizzard has made World of Warcraft, I believe they will include about as much character customization in Diablo 3 as they did in WoW (if not more.) I think that when you choose single or multi player (which I hope is not pay to play) there whole screen will be used, one half for the "good" side, and the other for the "evil" side. Each with their own "Create New (insert side here) Character".
What I'd like to see in Diablo 3: More things to do. Even though most of the quests toward the end take quite a while to complete, I still think that the story should be told in more than 24-30 quests, a few of them not even telling the story. Even though most RPG's like Diablo are told through the simple "do these quests and each time you beat it you get more of the story unraveled," I'd still like to see more quests, and more towns. For example. you could still have acts, but you might do a quest in one town and hear a rumor that a town you visited earlier was under attack. The kinds of things above would probably be the "Boss of the Act" kind of thing, where you have to fight a powerful warrior in the enemy army. Then, as you defeat them (Not as you move from town to town to change acts) a cut-scene would appear, and more of the story would be told.

im not sure that i quite understand the whole go back to town and have a war thing, u could have a war because it is suppossed to be u and ur char (and the other people in the game if its multi) taking on the enemy, no one in the town is going to want to help u, they are all to afraid and thats one of the reasons that u always get something when u complete a quest and what not
marshal i do like the whole own angel/devil idea but they shouldnt all look the same when they get to that state, they should all vary depending on what type of armour that they have on and the weapons that they have equipped i wouldnt want to duel someone and not even know what type of character they are
if i read either of your posts wrong just tell me and im sorry
but if each char would transform into their own "religios god" that would be cool just like each char had their own set aldurs, gris, tals each char should have their own angel zon could be helios (sun, arrow) paladin-tyreal, druid - gaea(all the nature gods are females .....) necro - hades,,, assasin - minerva (godess of wisdome,,,,, barb - ares,,,, sorcerer - (depending on wich type zues, posiden, or farbauti) but i would go for juno (queen of gods aka hera)
those are just ideas
and when u are evil u turn into loki-paliden izual-barb yeti-druid dark archer-zon sin(unkown) dark mage-nec council member-sor
i didnt think much for da bad guys cause if u turn evil ur just a minion to a prime evil but wen ur good you are your own boss
When did the soulstones for Baal and Diablo get destroyed? only mephs stone got broken in the hellforge.
The whole idea for the characters being your choice male or female is one i've liked for a long time. Characters could progress in either the heven or hell side simply by gaining power from doing good or evil quests. The power from the gods or demons would alter your abilities some. Doing quests of all types keeps you rather neutral and no bonuses to your powers, just leveling upwould be your goal then i guess. But unlocking new skill modifiers from quest rewards / or faction points/ or something similar would be a good way to advance in good or evil. Maybe a glow around you to indicate your power / side. The more the more power from your side.

DoubleTalk Isn't.
There are no perfect characters, only progress towards...
yeah your right because diablo was slain after you destrtoyed the hell forge and after we killed diablo we didnt rip the soulstone out of his forhead .... w8 a min.... so that means diablos soulstone is still in the choas so any wondorer could walk up to it and tear it off his head then it would aim right into his forehead thus NEW DIABLO IS BORN... gives me an idea...
O. K. the game should give choices to your chars like save this person or this demon depending on wich benifeted you the most and that will determine if ur good or bad by the research i have read from my GI's (game imformers) a lot of games are based on that kind of epic so its most likely there will be good vs evil
O.K. by popular vote vampires are exhiled as heros but what about samaris
