DRUID: The druid serves the cause of nature and neutrality; the wilderness is his community. He uses his special powers to protect it and to preserve balance in the world.
NECROMANCER: A mage that specializes in magic dealing with death.
The wizard strives to be a master of magical energies, shaping them and casting them as spells. To do so, he studies strange tongues and obscure facts and devotes much of his time to magical research. A wizard must rely on knowledge and wit to survive. Wizards are rarely seen adventuring without a retinue of fighters and men-at-arms. Because there are different types (or schools) of magic, there are different types of wizards. The mage studies all types of magic and learns a wide variety of spells. His broad range makes him well suited to the demands of adventuring.

-Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is alchemy's First Law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only, truth.
those classes were cool, monk and barbar from hellfire too
but the barbar/sorc/necro/play/druid were cool in d2(LOD)
someone like the barbar, but without the warcries, more physical type skills like frenzy and bash, i know resist to physical will kill him but thats what elemental damage is for

i.e the barbar becoming the ultimate weapons master(well more than he already is), or the necro/sorc, becoming so intune with magic that, certain spells can be cast with minimal mana use
