Why on earth would you still play the same characters over and over when a new patch is out. You already have the gear for greater rift 60+ and will be "done" with the new patch months earlier than if you played season and had to work for shit again.
This is almost like playing a brand new game with godmode.
From the Blizzcon panel demonstration, everyone will have the option to purchase up to 6 tabs, but if you play Season 4, you can get 7 when you complete a season journey in season 4.
i think the same as you, i really dont understand why they make us no-season play season to obtain more stash. i play season only for the pet(yeah i know a stupid reason, i know it) but i dont want to play every season to gain 1 more stash is like 2 or 3 years to gain all the stash wtf blizzard.
One thing that blizzard can do is put the same objectives to unlock the stash in no-season but only the stash and leave all the other things in season. Is like a kind of solution(?)

that would potentially make it insta given to non seasonal player. in my case in S4 i got the last season journey completed, i know the journeyr won't have the exact same requirement, but should be relatively close to these one so I would probably have them unlocked almost right away :\
i know is like insta given but they can change it a littel or use the new dungeons to unlock the stash to, like you need to do it whit the wiz, barb, monk and wd.
You could say the same argument no matter what the requirement is. If you need to complete some certain Grift level, people would complain that they are being "forced" to play Grifts. If you make it achievements people would be upset that they are "forced" to do achievements. Season journey - same thing. No matter what the requirements are you can't please everyone and like it or not, non-seasonal players are in the minority.
can you imagine if seasonal players made threads EVERY SINGLE SEASON bitching and moaning about not getting to keep their items, exp, etc from previous play?
It's great to see that the technology has arrived, however I can't help but think that requiring players to participate in Seasons in order to obtain those tabs isn't the way to go. We've waited a long time for this and for Non Season players to be left out like this is unnecessary and serves no good purpose.
Now, I'm sure some would say, "Well, just play Seasons then!" - To that I have the following reply: No. There's no good reason to make Season participation a requirement for this. And it's the NS players that need the extra storage the most anyway.
I don't mind at all if obtaining those extra storage tabs is a difficult and/or time consuming task to complete. The important thing is that it's at all possible. However, requiring players to participate in Seasons for it is probably the one thing that should not be on the table. Could you please look into finding other solutions? - There are enough incentives to play Seasons already.
There are already two existing thread about this topic - this one here being *exactly* the same as what your thread is about. Moved this in here.
Continue discussing this, but don't expect anything. Blizzard wants players to at least test season. As a long-time non-season player, do I think this is fair? Absolutely not. But after 1.5 years of fighting against it I've given up.
I just wonder what happens if you miss a season... you don't get the stash tab? Or you have to wait for the next one? Anyways, I think it's not the best solution they could've come up with, but it's just me.
They have given a way to get stash tabs, it requires you to complete a task. It's too bad that it's a task you don't want to do.
I want hellfire amulets but I don't like searching for keywardens, is that a sound argument that they should make keywardens always be standing right at the waypoint?
Just play a seasonal character and do what you need to get the stash space, then stop playing season if you hate it so much. When the season ends, any xp and items gained will be given to your non-season people.
To the people saying they don't want to have to level and do the SIMPLE AS FUCK season journey 1-4 to get the 4 tabs.
You instead want something that is difficult or challenging. You know thats like Seasons except its a joke and journey 1-4 takes like less than 20 hours to do generally. Like idk. Last season I was done with 1-4 journey and GR 62 46 hours from season launch on my barb. I only got some of the season done because of random shit I was doing to get gear I never even purposely went for it.
None of this addresses the real issue, which is, how in hell are we supposed to manage all the item sets with so little space?
Basically, if you want to play more than 3 classes, you need to have mules. That's not just bad design, that's plain idiotic.
Diablo is fun when you smash things or burn them to ashes. Diablo is not fun when you spend your time deciding which of your hard-earned items you're going to throw away.
If I want to spend some time cleaning house, I've got more than enough to do at home ...

To be honest, Keywardens can be farmed for everyone. If you don't play season but still want to play the game because it is awesome then you'll probably not want to play something which you don't want to play. I'm playing HC Season, imagine if I had to level a SC, gain paragon 250 and clear a T10 rift. It would be stupid and I would just feel as if the time spent in SC would've been better spent in HC where I actually play.
The problem isn't if it is a challenge or not, it is that you've to do something other then progress on your own "side of the board". None season could just have a quest where they had to do the same things as a season or be able to buy it after this season for a absurd amount of gold and be limited to one purchase per season. That way they can still play the game on their "side".

This. I cannot even begin to comprehend the ridiculousness of the stash limitation. The given space is fine for one character. Leaves enough room for multiple, complete gear sets and allows to keep some sort of organisation instead of throwing an item wherever there is space.
When they made the decision to make the stash account-wide, which was a great idea, originated in D2 mods, they somehow overlooked the fact that this would shrink the size to 1/5 of the intended value.
And even now they still turn a blind eye on this. There is nothing sillier in a collection-based game then to stop collecting to throw away stuff you might wanna use at some point in time. Like in a new patch with modified set bonuses....
edit: Forgot to mention: Why couldn't they put the 6th tab in the same "directory" as the other 5? Now we get page 1 with tabs 1-5 and page 2 with tab 1 (-5 eventually). Why?!
I dont see anywhere stated that season stash tabs will roll over to non-season.
"Yes, stash tabs opened up via Season's Journey will also unlock them in non-season. Currently those additional tabs open up immediately, and do not require waiting till the end of the season to benefit non-season stash space." http://us.battle.net/d3/en/forum/topic/19649636026?page=2#30

About the 38 minutes mark
I just see no value or fun in starting from ZERO.
I am sure other people do, but i do not.
Stash space is mandatory - especially when you have 1 of each class, and each of them has a set or two.
The current amount of stash space is beyond too little... having 5 tabs PER CHARACTER would be more sensible than what we got today.
I do not like anything that the Seasonal playstyle is offering... in fact, i detest it.
I do not see any reason to hide a mandatory Quality of Life upgrade (such as Stash space) behind content that is so specific and niche.

something like that im referring
That's lame, lowers sympathy for your desire. Maybe try to pm a mod.
