My #1 complaint is that they take too long. Sure quality is great, but not being prolific (many great works) means you're nitpicky, and don't have much work to be judged on.
Not to mention how some fans might have commitments in their lives later on..
1.) Blizzard always takes as much time as it takes to get their project's completely ready. "It's ready when it's ready".
2.) Blizzard want's to be sneaky and mysterious
If that is the case, would they purposely postpone the game so it comes way after SC2 is released?
I honestly think it will be comming out december 31st 2008, lol whoever said dec. 2009 is a dumb arse, theyve been working on this game for a long time allready. WHAt u acctually think they dont have the other 3 characters yet? hahaha of course they do their just holding all this stuff back till the release date gets closer so we get more excited for it, jesus think once in a while

Even if one takes every reefer madness allegation of the prohibitionists at face value, marijuana prohibition has done far more harm to far more people than marijuana ever could
Though we have since determined that Project Hydra is more than likely Diablo III (due to the apparent merger of Diablo, Mephisto and Baal), we still feel that it may have a double meaning which includes releasing all three games as close together as possible. Here is the thread.
Each title is slated (roughly) one month apart. We think Blizzard has been planning this, and while the dates may be changed/pushed back, the important thing to notice is the closeness of the dates.

Won't happen. There's no reason too, not only is it bad for business it's just plain stupid. It's down right stupidity to assume Blizzard would release all their franchises in one fell swoop. The would compete for sales with one another, it wouldn't allow Activison/Vivendi to show growth over the fiscal year, and the biggest give away is THEY WOULDN'T RELEASE A GAME A WEEK AFTER CHRISTMAS.
You're just spewing wild speculation and trying to cover it up with pseudo evidence.
If you guys watched the Rob Pardo interview ( the executive director of D3 and Blizzard ) the interview is done by Gamespot. The interview is was done by them and their site is the one with the release date. Ironic? Coinencidence? IDK.

They did that with Diablo 2, and they delayed it 4 times.
If that is the case, would they purposely postpone the game so it comes way after SC2 is released?
Some notable points of interest:
Diablo 3 (bottom of page): 12/31/08
Starcraft 2: 12/03/08
Warth of the Lich King: 11/03/08
