Started playing my monk again, who had just enough gear for T5, but 0 Sunwuko pieces (I am awesome). In 2 GRifts this morning, got an ancient daibo with 3900+ dmg and a socket, 2 SWK pieces, and 3 other set pieces. It was extremely fun and hated having to log off to go to work
I'm in it for the long haul, so the patch does not bother me. I really loved how M6 DH's mimicked a D2 Trapsin with their sentries before, but the change seems even more overpowered on top of making you actually attack now.
I had a lot of issues working with my DH at the start and had to try about 5 or 6 builds out before I found one that worked. They are way stronger now.
The gobs are awesome and ancient items are a nice extra grinding layer. Grifting is much better than before, and channel pylons (at least for Dh) are the new conduit pylon. Overall happy with the changes, I haven't messed around with the other classes yet.

Playing Diablo since 97. I know nothing and having nothing good to say, I be a troll.

Slayer,
Me too actually. I tried various MS builds, Chakaram builds, Bolo Shot builds, and CA builds. Once I got a Kindershot and was able to do an Ice build I just started wrecking things. I think one of the things I like most about the changes is that it's okay to have other skills on the bar now. I can actually use vengence and not have it be a bad thing. It's pretty awesome to have five turrets down, pop pet, pop vengence and just watch Elite groups melt.

Yah I still haven't found one but using a cold rocket build and increased my Grift level by 6 using the same gear. It's fun using vengeance again.
Season 1 is still going .. "The earliest the Season will end is February 3, 2015. While it's possible this date may shift, we will do our utmost to adhere to it. If any scheduling changes occur, we will be sure to provide an update."
I think its called Malevolent Goblin- that is the mystery goblin (prolly old news) but I just found one. Got 4 legs and an insane amount of gold, blues and yellows.
The goblins are fun. I have now seen all new types and packs of them, too. They are fun and rewarding.
This patch is complete garbage for wizards, they changed hydra stats slightly and nerfed firebird DoT range, which makes it even harder to stay alive and kite, making the whole point of firebird mute.
I've not tried wiz post 2.1.2 patch, but I've read about this. Very sad actually. Time for Blizz to give wiz some real love! (Soon TM)
Had the possibility to play yesterday evening with my DH, and still have to tackle other characters (which are not even nearly as geared as the DH and have random fun builds).
T6: well, plowing through things was a thing, now i'm using a plowing steamroller. Rifts are so fast to complete.
GRifts: did only a single trial with a monk friend and without Awareness/unity/survivability setup we got GR36 first try. We died a lot from oneshot abilities which could have been mitigated through a defensive gearing or proper group setup, still we managed to kill the boss with 1 and half a minute left on timer.
DH: the set changes are baffling - a lot more action and fun;i need to get accustomed with the new playstyle, especially the Polar Station turrets. I need more awareness but the reward is the enormous amount of controlled burst damage we can deal now. Current build is not optimal (need a Kridershot to raise the bar) but works good enough for my tastes.
Now i must wait for season 2, meanwhile i will try my Strafe DH since i only need 2 pieces of Mara for the pets and i think i'll be able to squish the Shadow Set into the gear setup.
Nothing really has changed. Rift density is fixed finally, ancient items are boring, also not very rare at all. I don't play a monk, but I do know they got some major fixes. For me, I got depressed and bored in about an hour after playing. It's the same exact scenery, game play(rifts and Grfits) and loot all over again.
- Ancient items may not be "rare" per se, but getting that one right item, with the right stats? that will be somewhat rare, I've been playing ALOT since the launch of 2.1.2 and received a decent amount of ancient items, but only http://i.imgur.com/yLbv0yl.png has been useful.
I've been having fun for 2 straight days now after the patch.
- Kinda agree a bit on the Conduit though, It feels like it doesn't do any damage at all. Update: They hotfixed/buffed the conduit again.
- The new Treasure goblins are amazing! although quite a click-fest when you get a goblin pack. (They should enable auto pick-up for mats and gems!)
- DH's almost seem to be too strong compared to other classes. (Most of the time when I join community goups, 3/4 of the party = DH's - almost all the time.)
Wtf they do with the conduit pylon? Better dont use, we feel so brave with the pylon haha, died 3 times with this joke conduit pylon.
DH looks so op now, loved.
Have any difficulty below normal? T6 should be there.[/pre]

My impression of the new patch is that the DH is now hands down the most fun class to play. It's now my main.

Acients seem to be too common. Not found a decent wpn yet but anything you can craft you get them 1/15 or so. Everything eles good but meh.

DH is pretty taxing to play now. no more standing in one area hiding.
barb dont feel that nerfed. but really happy that i can actually 1v1 rift guardians now. well, except for ghom and raziel.
