Is there an explicit list of what skills that is what element for the crusader? Mainly concerned for gear with specific +elemental damage. Lightning, Physical or Holy.
Several skills are rather ambigous.
For example Carve. The base skill says fire damage explicitly. But the first rune, says the slash is pure lightning. Is it then turned into lightning damage?
Looking at Justice, the base skill appears to be physical damage. The first rune Burst says its charged with lightning and explodes on impact, dealing 25% weapon damage as lightning in a small explosion. Is it changing the base skill too? Looking at Holy Bolt rune I thusly wonder if it changes to holy damage.
Shield Bash 325% weapon damage and 300% shield block chance as holy. Is the whole thing holy damage, or only the damage from shield block?
Sweep Attack appears to be physical as baseline. But first rune makes targets hit by it catch on fire. Is it only this damage that turns into fire, or the whole package? Later on it with Frozen Sweep it says the flail becomes frozen. Is it then inflicting cold damage?
Blessed Hammer have the same issue. Baseline Holy, but having several elemental runes that leaves one wondering if the baseline skill changes as well, or only part of the damage.
Likewise when looking at Blessed Shield. Appears to be physical baseline, but having 2 elemental runes.
Fist of the Heavens is almost clear the whole way through, sans the first rune that turns the damage into holy?
I can see several possibilities here:
1: the base skill never changes, unless explicitly stated. So Carve with the electrify rune still deals fire damage, but has the stun proc.
But it will also mean that a skill like Blessed Hammer with the Thunderstruck rune is holy baseline, with a small lightning damage effect on top, and you thusly will benefit much more from having items with +holy damage, as that comprises the majority of the skill's damage. And which would encourage people with +holy gear to only choose runes with neutral improvements for blessed hammer. As non holy elemental damage doesnt get improved by your gear.
2: The elemental effect of a rune fully overrides the element of the base skill, so you can tailor your skills and specific runes with a matching suit of +elemental gear.
