Blizzard has finally posted their last armor set update pre-Blizzcon with one focusing on the male Barbarian. The set bears a striking resemblance to the armor previously released for the female Barbarian, especially in the "claws" covering the arms and wrists, though Bashiok remarked that the two armor sets are not the same.
Now with all six armor sets revealed, minus any emphasis on the Monk, we can look forward to the icing on this proverbial cake with all the Diablo III goodness Blizzcon has to offer. If you missed any of the former armor sets, see here:

I am most certainly loving this. Can't wait to see it in game. They're showing it from a kinda weird angle for those horns on the helmet tho, but I'm sure from an isometric view it makes more sense haha. Looks very nice. I wonder what the male barbarian's face looks like, I'm pretty sure Bashiok said they redid both him and the female barbarian when someone pointed out that the female model looked different.
Daaaam.....this armor set looks badass. Deff. My favorite. And the helmet doesn't look retarded like the
Ones for the wizards, those Deff. Look photoshoped. But this one is great.
The barb is just the best class ever that's why they brought him back
For D3
Male wizard's still looks waaay better to me, but whatever suites your fancy. I won't be playing the Barb, ever, so I don't really care. And, on a side note, IPBoard's RTE SUCKS ASS. I had to fiddle with that crap for like ten minutes to get it to stop centering stuff I already highlighted and clicked align left. Finally reverted to the standard editor.
One thing though is that we can see his ponytail so does the helm not cover the back of his
Head? Or does it have a special hole for the ponytail to come out?
just wonderin.
My only complaint, after looking at it for a bit, is that even though the female barb and male barb are on the same tier with these sets, the male barb's set basically looks like the same armor as the female's, except upgraded. Its probably just that the female's set doesn't have a helmet, but thats just kinda my impression of it.

Why do you think it's the same tier? It looks higher to me. Remember there will be way more armor designs than in D2, so the differences between two tiers can be subtle sometimes.
This is my favorite one so far. Even though the helm is shown from a weird angle, it's totally awesome.

I know they said that they were completely done with all Wizard armor.
I'm wondering if they are also done with all Barbarian and Witch Doctor armors as well, but still working on the Monk armors. (Considering none of the Monk stuff was shown off.)
You'd have to think we will be hearing a release date if three of the classes armor sets are completely done.
I don't think simply having armor complete for three classes constitutes them being done or near done. It's a stepping stone, I guess, but there's a lot more to it all than that.
Well these are the armor sets that the classes are going to use in the Blizzcon demo, so it can be assumed they wouldn't just give one class/gender better armor than the rest, so thats why I assumed they were the same tier. He only said it wasn't the same armor set, not a different tier completely. So if that is the case, then this is probably the male barbarian's 5th set out of 16 or 18, whichever one he said about a previous set.
I don't remember them ever saying they were done with all Wizard armor, and even if they are, that doesn't say anything about overall progress. I have to imagine designing large quest chains and environments is much harder and more time consuming than making armor.

Looks a lot like the armor barb wore in the first gameplay vids of D3 except maybe for the headpiece which resembled one of D2's bone helm.
