They wield massive weapons – oversized killing devices that more urbane heroes are barely strong enough to lift, let alone swing.
Barbarians casually swing weapons that ordinary warriors can barely lift. They’re able to fight with a full-sized blade, hammer, or axe gripped in each fist, or with enormous (but ponderous) great weapons that crush their enemies into paste.
At first I thought they might just be referring to regular two-handed weapons but the "(but ponderous)" has me thinking otherwise.
If anyone has any other information regarding mighty weapons feel free to share!
Yeah I guess they could just be a type of Barbarian specific weapon. That would be lame though, I want huge oversized weapons like what King Leoric wields in the Beta. His mace is freakin' sweet.
It looks like each class is getting class specific weapons, and these are the Barbarian's. Sounds like it will be a 2hand thang only, though. Which I suppose makes most sense - since we can already dual-wield 2handers, there's no point in only wielding one. These will fill that role.

Huh? King Leoric's mace is exactly the type of weapon that would be considered "massive" enough that only a barbarian could wield it..
Also.. @brimg: Barbs cannot dual-wield 2-handers.

Weapons found in Inferno that are barbarian only? Mighty 1 handers and even Mightier 2 handers?
Ok, so I have a question. With the passive Weapons Master (Gain a bonus based on the weapon type of your main hand weapon: Swords/Daggers: 10% increased damage, Maces/Axes: 5% chance to critical hit, Polearms/Spears: 10% attack speed, Might Weapons: 1 Fury per hit) If you're wielding a mighty axe in your main hand, do you gain the axe bonus and the mighty weapon bonus?

My place really was here. I was too foolish and stubborn to notice. But, what I truly hoped for then was here. Why do I always realize it When I've already lost it.

EDIT: out my nonsense that D3 Barbs could dual-wield 2h swords and axes and the like.
The 1-handed sickles are mighty weapons.

There's beta footage of a Barbarian wielding two mighty weapon axes. I CBA to find it now but should come across it soon.
in other words, does the weapon show up with the word "mighty" as its type or "mighty axe"?
