This is also Dad's, from last year. I don't know the specs on the lens he used, but both photos used the same gear, except this one was taken with a telextender.
No, it was pretty normal looking. The only way you could tell it was a super moon, was that it was a little brighter than normal. For me the most noticable effect was how much better it lit everything on the ground.

The first one is his biggest camera lens. He uses it for bird photos mostly. I think its a 300 or 400 mm lens. The second one is the same Canon lens with a telextender under it. Both photos were cropped quite a bit, so the moon didn't actually take up that much of the original frame.
I took this one myself - right before I took an arrow to the knee.
