Forgive my presumptuousness to give advice Zhar typically I feel giving advice is self aggrandizing and often arrogant by those who do it. This one time though I will break my own rule to say a few sincere words based on my own experiences. I probably tried no less than 30 different jobs until I figured out computers was my schtick. I say go hang out 1 week in each profession, go find someone in the profession and work for free for a week in each. People are often happy to help people starting out and it will help you decide. The most important thing is that you have a true passion for what you do, that way when you go to work, you are really going to play and never really have to work. Your days will pull you through rather than you waiting on the clock to hit 5.
I don't care if you 10 million a year, if you hate what you do, it will suck the life out of no matter how much money they throw at you.
Aah...Vegas....you are such a presumptuous fellow. I hope Zhar can forgive you.
There's nothing wrong with giving advices though, especially if you have a certain knowledge/experience in the matter.
It's then all up to the person who you've been giving it to to either consider it or just ignore it.
I dunno if I can Nekro. Like.. who does he think he is, giving me useful advice like that?
I hope you feel terrible, dick.
Seriously though, it's actually very welcome advice man, current schooling seems to drill it into our heads that we need to know exactly what we want to do RIGHT out of high school, and head off to university immediately. So it's nice to see that this sometimes isn't the case IRL :D.

That's where school is jacked up because it's almost never the case. You get out of school and it kind of feels like you got taken for a joy ride and dumped out on the street and then your sitting there asking yourself "Now what the hell am I going to do?"
The biggest thing school does not teach you (and it's a crime in my opinion) is how to handle your money, what to do and not do with credit, how to identify and asset from a liability. But you can't blame the teachers most of them don't make much and don't really know themselves. This can be boring stuff until your money and future is at stake. The only report card you get after school is your financial statement, if you get this down up front you will be light years ahead of most people who tend to learn all this through the school of frustrating hard knocks. I've read a crap load of books but the best ones that wasn't full of hype were Robert Kiyosaki's books, starting with Rich Dad poor Dad.
The reason I like RK is because he doesn't hype the idea you have to be super rich, he leaves that up to you to decide realizing everyone has different goals. He simply teaches you how to look and handle money money in a way that works for you. It's one of those topics a lot of people don't want to know much about, but in today's world especially it is no longer multiple choice, the foxes of money are guarding the hen houses and you have to know something on the matter. For many the topic isn't important at 20 because you have time, but at 40 and beyond it becomes everything.
Here is a great 40 min video of RK showing you the difference between the cash flow of people who are broke all the time vs people who have money. Ignore the hokey feelgood music up front. A crucial view. http://www.betterday...lay.php?vid=190
I now digress :turned:
Money...sucks. The way everything seem to spin around it makes me wonder...
Anyway let's not get into money talks, it's boring.
I got a question for you guys- What is the purpose in your life?(note I didn't ask purpose of life)
I mean do you people have some vision of what you want to attain or achieve? Or maybe a place you want to be? Anything?
And once you've achieved it, what then?
MOTHERFUCKING SQUIRRELS!!
THEY ATE ALL THE CORN I PLANTED!!
I've never wanted to actually kill an animal before, but god fucking damnit, I would murder those little fuckers.
3 rows of sweet corn, 4 stalks in each row. That shit was going to taste awesome.
Gonna plant it again next year, spray cayenne pepper on them, keep the fuckers off.

Fire into the nest then run like hell, or shove a stick of dynamite into the nest, light it, and run like hell, or just run like hell for the sake of running like hell.

I mean do you people have some vision of what you want to attain or achieve? Or maybe a place you want to be? Anything?
And once you've achieved it, what then?
Another purpose?
I know...that was more than one question.
I think those damn corn eating squirrels trumped your purpose for me I need to reset some goals now so I'm not sure how to answer. I won't bore the board with job or money goals. Health, I am trying to get back into as good as shape as I was in during my 20's so I'm pumping a lot of iron 6 days a week right now. Other stuff i might add here after I reset them, thanks for the wake up call, I have been procrastinating doing that.
I was pondering on my own purposes. For now they seem focused on studies, a future job and obviously financial stability. I guess that's something of a must for most people.
So I have added another purpose. Conquer the world. Am pretty serious.
Once I do, something awesome will happen. I am sure.
Well it's time to get some milkshake and cookies now. Priorities...will never change.
I need to interview a few people. Will anybody step up to the plate? Nothing personal will be asked, just questions pertaining to an informative speech project.
