Loot 2.0 will be released before xpac. Should we be expecting all items 60-63 to be rolling higher stats? Or will current "good" items just be expected to drop more often. For example, should we be expecting EFs to be rolling 2000 dps with 200+ main stat????
While I look forward to loot 2.0 I really do not hope for 2000 dps EE's to be dropping all that is going to do is make it where you will only be able to sell very very high end gear for some profit.. which would mean i would end up sitting on 3-5 1800-2000 dps weapons because I would not be able to sell them or trade them for something that I could use.

Well... yea. Welcome to how everything in the world works. There's no way around people wanting the top .1% of gear, which to many people, makes the rest of the 99.9% useless. This is ALWAYS going to happen.
The problem actually lies in your outlook on the game. Stop immediately putting a price on an item that drops because you want to instantly sell it. In loot 2.0 *if* they are able to accurately address the self found issue, than hopefully your attitude shifts from seeing a legendary beam, thinking 'I wonder what that's worth!' to seeing a legendary beam and thinking 'Oh man I hope that's a good upgrade'! =)
The point of my post here is to hopefully get you to understand that there's absolutely nothing anyone can do about people wanting the best of the best items.

I hope that Loot 2.0 makes all Legendaries BOA - That Legendaries are better than Rares and so that top 1% of items can only be found and not bought.
'Play to win' would then finally prevail over 'Pay to win'..
I hope that if indeed "old" items like EF would start dropping wth 2k dps, then they should give us the option to upgrade our current items to match that level of dps. I mean, make the upgrades cost a lot and require many crafting components that you need a lot of time to farm for. I just don't like the idea that all of my gear will become total garbage at some point
But hey it is expected. And if it happens, i'll accept it and move on. I guess if i will find good items that replace my old items without having to go to the AH then i will be pleased nonetheless...

I knew I should have made my self cleared lol I knew I was going to get this response. I don't mean I want to sell the items on AH I just want them to have some bargaining power, what I mean is i play a DH if i get a EE with say 1700 DPS i want to be able to trade it for a DH item. If everyone and their mom is getting 1700-2000 dps EE i will get shit for my trade that is all. Not to mention it will push everyone and their mom into MP10 farming... which would make then whole MP1-10 scale worthless.

There is no difference between you getting a low EF now and getting a low EF after loot 2.0... It's the relativity that matters so the situation will not be changed from what we currently have.
About the mp1-10 scale, they are adding the random loot runs and i guess other stuff for a reason. I don't think they will release the expansion without something difficult to begin with. Sure players will beat the hell out of it once they farmed enough but atleast for the start, it will be hard (just like mp 10).

I like the idea that the loot hunt would be fresh again.. all current BIS items would no longer be BIS..
Would give us a bit more fun pre expansion to re-gear with a new loot hunt carrot
