I'm actually impressed that the trolling and hating is being kept in very manageable levels.
I guess your average whiner/hater doesn't bother posting in these topics (but they sure love creating a daily thread bashing the same feature of the game that they've been complaining about for the past 6 months).
I just read the 26 pages of suggestions (and voted) ... And can honestly say that it would seem to me that everyone generally wants the same stuff. If this "stuff" is fixed the game will live up to its full potential. I can wait for true PVP and a ladder and all the other stuff. Itemization is the number 1 issue for me.

Agreed. I am also impressed the trolling and spam was kept minimal and that the discussion was used to address the questions about the future of itemization and the concerns of the community surrounding this topic. I read all 26 pages and voted on a lot of the questions I found core to the problem of Diablo 3's itemization. Shout out to sibcoe and redteamgaming on youtube. If anyone wants to listen to a well composed critical analysis of Diablo 3 and its problems, check this guy out!

That's because they are actually doing something right now, at least in paper. Before they were the trolls IMO.

Are you shitting me?
Why would they fix itemization before they had pLvls or before they fixed Inferno to not be a giant one-shot fuckfest? There *is* a method to the madness. Just because you choose to ignore it doesn't mean it's not there.

I'm the type of guy who prefer to install some windows and doors instead of painting the house, but that's just me.

It is pretty debatable whether doing the fast and easy fixes first was a bad way to go. To a certain extent nerfing inferno and giving paragon levels helped a lot with gear problems. I'm not sure how many people would actually be playing the game if inferno progression had stayed the same for too long.
Oh no, not again. Not on another damn thread. For crying out loud, will people ever get tired of behaving like that and making the same comments over and over again, on multiple threads about different subjects?
I'm not gonna infract anyone yet, but for f**** sake, let's keep this on-topic
There are a lot of dumb questions in there, and the usual loaded questions, as well as a predictable number of questions that have already been answered... so yeah, I'm amazed that derps, trolls and fanboys aren't all just having a giant crapfling in there. Perhaps the mods are executing a silent but ruthless campaign of post-nuking?
In any case, I can't see an 'itemization only' ATD being that interesting... hopefully they'll use the questions as an excuse to launch into broader discussions about affix/skill interactions and give us some kind of timeframe (not bloody likely).

Good Lord
Man glad I don't really post here ever (aside from now) with forum mods like this guy. God complex from being made a moderator on a video game forum....way to go!
I think all the important questions got asked reasonably well, but I wouldn't expect too much(i.e. what is happening and when) from the answers - they just made the itemization blog and that made it pretty clear they're still deciding on the specifics. My bet is they'll use this Q&A to expand on the things they wrote there and address a few more questions. Should be interesting, but the good stuff is still a few months out.

I'm sure with an attitude like that a lot of users are glad you don't post around here much as well.
You seem to have no idea (judging by your ignorance on the subject) how many threads were talking about one thing and that have been derailed by the same posters complaining about the same things almost always in a condescending manner. Hint: it wasn't one.
We've had DOZENS of reports from other users always about the same problem. Second Hint: infracting the posters over the past months doesn't seem to be making an effect, so maybe a more direct approach might solve the issue.
Which is precisely what I want, that the forums stop being cluttered with the same conspiracy theories and complaints over and over and over and over again. It's pointless and downright stupid.
