Anyone know of a way to make the sound that comes when a legendary drop any louder? Without having the make everything from the game louder? I've got some time off coming up and would like to go into zombie paragon grind mode and crank my music up but don't want to miss legendarys. I know the ping is there also but it doesn't last long and I'm sure some of you know how zombie mode goes.
The gold beacon on the screen doesn't alert you enough? Do you use a small monitor? I'd suggest playing your music through a different source (speakers) and use a headset for in-game volume as there is no way as of right now to seperate game sounds

Yeah, that sound is going to scale with all EFX sounds. Your only options here are to turn all other game sound off/way down and turn up you PC speakers so that the sound can wash through your music. I do this sometimes, as I love to jam old Slayer tracks
lol....sorry, I felt like breaking shit for a minute there. My advice is to set your music level, play it, then stand in town and drop a legendary on the ground to find the right level.
The gold beacon on your mini map. You should see that long before you run far enough away that it doesn't show up on your mini map.
To be honest, I never ever look on the minimap in D3. For me, this is a useless feature. I loved the overlay map as in D2, and I hate the way they implemented it in D3. I have never seen any legendary drop on the minimap, I have to pay more attention to that; actually, I don't even know what it looks like. Someone cares to post a screenshot? I also heard it's only there for 5 seconds, is that right?
i hear everything just fine

I hate it when people use unorthodox terms and expect everyone to know what they're talking about.
Sounds like someone forgot their cereal box decoder ring. Set it to 'simple'.
