Are any of you guys finding it harder to sell items on the RMAH now? About 3-4 weeks ago I would regularly sell 3-5 items per week. But now I haven't sold anything since then. I know there's more items out there and this is bringing prices down, but is anybody else not selling as much? I'm sure it has something to do with Pandaria coming out and people waiting for the next patch.
it's hard to sell jewelry right now because of the 1.0.5 change of jewelry getting lvl 63 stats.. so people are waiting.
it's hard to sell anything else right now because mists just came out for warcraft so people left for that.. and others have just quit so the player population is at an all time low.
Finally it's hard to sell because everyone and their mother is farming act 3 with paragon magic find and finding good items. The market is flooded. Unless Blizzard does something to fix that, it will be the same after 1.0.5 hits. Well, lvl 63 stat jewelry will sell fast because it's new.. but everything else will be the same.

It's hard to sell anything right now because people know the drop rates next patch are a lot better (both rares and legends) so people don't want to spend cash on upgrades that will be devalued in a few weeks. Mists has a bit of an effect but I think the next patch looming in the near future with double the droprates of legends and 20 times the droprates of ilvl63s (affixes that is) is making a much larger impact.
Why would anyone buy singleplayer items with real money? And as for Gold Ah , ppl probably got tired of D3 overall , went playing other games like tl2 , pandas etc ...
If people aint buying, people aint selling... easy as that.
and since more and more people quitting, the pool of players who are actually willing to spend real money shrinks as well.
I'd really like to know how many people actually still playing, but from the 11 Mio sold copies not many people are left, i am certain of that.
1.04 was awsome, granted... 1.05 gonna be a disaster again.
general trend for RMAH is when patch hits prices go up and lots of stuff sells. monday-thursday its much harder to sell, friday and sunday its pretty good, saturdays are the best. keep in mind if u want to sell on weekdays u'll have to underbid quite substantially.
I do not use the RMAH myself. But as I see it, as people's toons get better and better geared the less likely they are going to spend real money (or in game gold or the matter) on something the is going to only be a slight upgrade.
I am to the point on my main where I am at 155k dps unbuffed and about 250k buffed. I am not going to spend 100+ million gold on something the is only going to give me maybe a 1% crit chance upgrade or 4-5% crit damage. As for alts, they only get items that I find while farming. I will spend neither gold nor real money on them.
The only stuff that's going to sell on the RMAH come patch week will be jewelry with 63 max stats. That's it!
So farm your little hearts out and hope you get some to make a quick buck. I know all my jewelry is going on the RMAH when I get it since real money > in game gold.
